Very unprofessional. On occasion, in the past 5 years a few representatives at the counter have actually offered a smile and small talk...again, on a occasion. Overall going to this Office is a disappointment. I try hard to avoid needing them at all but unfortunately getting our mail is important. My most recent experience was with a male "Supervisor " that in my opinion, needs to re-visit customer service training or be held accountable for setting a poor example of how to build strong long term customer relationships within a community. To say he was rude might be a blanket term because there was definitely a few layers of very surprising and off putting responses he gave. Let's start with making eye contact with your customer and one word responses work for animals, not people. I might also suggest not "barking" at your employee or "trainee" ... I wasn't quite sure since she seemed to be some what confused at his request. Now maybe they don't feel there is a problem with the said professional level at this branch but from a customer perspective I have continued to see the same level of head shaking behavior since 2012. Very low level follow up or follow through and if your not on top of any issues yourself they will drag them out beyond a reasonable timeline. If you say today or tomorrow, let that be the case. Not require me to call for follow up 3 days later to be told tomorrow again. It's frustrating to say the least. I love UPS and even FEDEX. I'll be doing all the business I can with them and continuing to avoid this office. It was pretty sad giving this review. I hope...
Read moreSecond Time: Efficiency would be my word to describe this place. The lady came out to fill the Priority Parcel after telling her they are out. And if you’re not a regular 2 minute checkout tracking receipt in hand. I get it they are nicer to the regulars but I don’t come here often so solid 3 stars. I just pay for my postage and they keep the line moving. I would avoid sending packages on holidays because if you’re looking for a jolly place it’s not here.
First time: The main post office in the city. Which they can do better with service. Jen helped me and my husband as best as possible without hands on customer service. She stepped us aside and let us do our thing. Jen remarks weren’t really professional it was very smart remarks. Since she works for government she could get away with it. For, someone that hardly goes to the post office the customer service could be more friendlier. I would say the customer isn’t fully hands on where they would assist you in every step of the way. There definitely room for improvement with friendly customer service. The other reviews...
Read moreI live in a condo where we have cluster boxes. Our mailbox including 48 others were broken into by individual/individuals who have access to their master key. Instead of seizing delivering mail until the problem has been resolved, I was notified by their agent (after they denied my request to speak with the Postmaster or manager in charge) that nothing will be done as long as the mailboxes have no problem locking up, even if the perpetrators have the key to acces them again. Meaning they do not care if our mail continues to be stolen. I was a former mail carrier, and the policy where I worked at was if ever a mailbox/boxes were compromised we were to seize mail deliverance until the box/boxes have been replaced with a new lock and keys.Kind of suspicious that this is not the same at this local postal office. It seems that they welcome/tolerate theft. How can you trust service without any concern...
