The service was appalling. 1.) I walked inside to order and the African American woman I began my order with pointed behind me and said something inaudible. I turned and looked, thinking she'd pointed to a person, but figured out I had to order using the keosk. Twice I had PLAINLY told her that I'd never used one, TWICE, but she just stood looking at me and just said to tap the screen, then turned and walked away. An African American woman step up to the same woman behind the counter, but, though SHE didn't say she'd never used a kiosk, she definitely wasn't disabled, nor incoherent, that same worker who had just pointed to the kiosk for me to use, CAME ALL THE WAY AROUND THE COUNTER, and started entering the woman's order FOR HER! Taco Bell needs to sit that employee down and explain to her that Racism is Racism, and it's plain as day when it's exercised!! And, that it goes BOTH WAYS, NOT JUST ONE WAY! 2.) The women working there are incredibly stupid! I'll explain so that you understand, and don't just think I'm being "rude" or "mean". Because the African American worker was racist toward me, she switched off, & didn't come near me again. She look behind me, to the left of me, to the right, but never looked at me again. So, I was forced to speak to the Latina women who were preparing the orders. I KNEW that if I spoke to them in English they weren't going to understand me, so I spoke to them in my PERFECT Spanish. I have NEVER lived in a Spanish speaking country but I speak it without an accent, fluently, and WELL ENOUGH TO TRANSLATE IN THE "ER" AT 3 MAJOR CRITICAL CARE HOSPITALS IN THE BAY AREA, and for a translating service!! I told the 2 Latina women that my order was wrong. They kept looking at each other. NO! There are NO DIALECTS IN SPANISH!! Or anywhere IN LATIN AMERICA. IT'S ALL 1 BRAND OF SPANISH from our US border to Chile! There are Native Americans but the Spanish they Speak, is what I speak!
I had to keep repeating what was wrong with the order. They both had real clueless looks on their faces. I finally walked out to get to work, though I had also told the 2 clueless Latinas that I needed another plastic cup for the 2:Pepsi's I ordered. 1 had fallen on the floor and I wanted a clean one. They went on, ignoring me, and neither ever brought me the clean cup. I had to run out to go clock in for work and never got my Pepsi's either. The Latinas FULLY UNDERSTOOD ME BECAUSE THEY DID ARGUE BACK AT ME! THAT, THEY WERE GREAT AT! THEY KNEW I UNDERSTOOD THEM! Just a super low life bunch of women. Not a Civilized location. I haven't eaten at a Taco Bell in @ 40 years. And, not in another 1000 years.
I only went to the Taco Bell to get coffee but was told THE COFFEE MACHINE WAS BROKEN, by the initial counter worker. Really? Broken? And, to get food for the 5 feral kittens across the street. No lousy animal rescue has responded to my messages regarding the 5!kittens. They're in bad shape and 1 has a...
Read moreI have never been in an establishment that makes you order at a machine and there is no line, dude walks past the register and doesn'take my order...so I go to the kiosk and what I want isn't in the options so another clerk was willing to help, simple order..ok and as I am waiting an watching the snail (as in so slow..taking her precious time) is literally barely moving and has a screen with 4 orders and she hasn't filled any of them..I am sitting here like what are you waiting for. I worked at taco bell when I was 17-18yrs old and back then there was some speed to getting orders out. Im sitting here like..get the tortilla already..and she walks away from the line and then says she is taking her 10!! It took another 5 min before another lady comes to the line and she isnt even paying attentionto the order, as I am watching..tortilla, beans, green sauce, (where is the red) extra onion..NO CHEESE! Im like MA'AM...MA'AM, please I said no cheese🤦🏾♀️ For 4 bean burritos I sat there for 10min while they were just walking around ,there had to be a good 6 people behind the counter walking PAST the line nit...
Read moreWe had intended to eat at the Sonoma location, but their lobby was closed (noon on a Friday), so we ended up here. Everyone was friendly and helpful but they are clearly understaffed, the only problems we had (dining in) were likely due to not having enough people (no ice in the soda machine, slow service). I was really worried after reading some of the other reviews, but everyone who we interacted with was really nice, and no one was just standing around, they were all frantically building burritos and what-not for the pick-up orders. They even offered to fill the soda for us since the soda machine was out of ice. There were no sauce packets out (I assume this is either due to the crummy neighborhood or more likely management figured out they can be cheap as a result of the pandemic), but regardless of the reason, they asked what sauces we wanted so we didn't have to ask. The food was better than expected, my kids got tacos with no lettuce and the tacos came stuffed full of meat and cheese instead of the recommended minimal amout.
I couldn't find Nacho Fries on...
