NUG Vallejo — Local services in Vallejo

BUYER BEWARE OF SCAM!! Nug Oakland is great! however the Vallejo location is STEALING MONEY FROM THEIR CUSTOMERS! Their debit system charges 8 to 12 dollars when it only claims to charge $3.50. The charge shows up as using an out of country ATM which comes with extra fees. It is not the fault of the customer that you have chosen to set up your businesses debiting device as an out of country ATM. The average consumer would not expect that. They do not advise you of this at point of sale, and are confrontational when contacted, to the point of making me cry. This is not the first time I used my card, just the first time I noticed.

Also make sure to check the package date for fresher bud as that can be an issue.

It's a shame because the bud tenders are very friendly and have great customer service but their reaction to over charging me was to not accept accountability. Rather than hold the business accountable, the bud tender offered money from their own pocket which of course I would not accept. The bud tender had no part in creating this scammy system! The debiting device literally displays a fee rate that is incorrect and there is no signage to warn you this may happen.

Came into NUG today for the first time and I was greeted by the two owners of the store to which one’s name was Sam not sure if the elder to whom may have been Sam’s dad but either way they were both nice and friendly upon arrival and Stephanie who helped us within the store was a big help. What I also want to point out is whenever Stephanie was busy with a customer, Sam took it upon himself to leave his front position to help Stephanie so the customers weren’t waiting too long. First time visit and although they do offer a small discount or freebie surprise for your review the service the prices the customer service and minor detail and care to customer satisfaction is the real reason I agreed to the review.
