Evangelina Rodriquez, I'm just curious, although the restuarant was absolutely empty inside as you stated. Did you by chance happen to notice the flow of drive thru? No offense, but being that I have been a manager at both , McDonald's and Taco Bell restaurants, starting as just a crew member, know that the focus is primarily on drive-thru, making sure to keep the time down from the second a customer reaches the menu board to the very second they receive their order and drive away. Not that it's a justifiable to make anyone wait. But mind you, this is just my personal former management employee experienced opinion, typically the dining rooms of fast food restaurants have become almost like ghost towns. Unfortunately, the blame shouldn't be placed on the employees, it should be on the upper management, such as the cooperate offices. Although most, if not all of them have worked their way from the bottom of the employee chain. They are no longer in direct contact with customers. Don't get me wrong, they do occasionally drop by some of the restaurants and help with customer service. But, being there in the lime light for only 1-3 hours at the absolute most, is no where near close enough to recognize what it takes to achieve the ultimate customer satisfaction goal today. Frankly speaking, most businesses today have lost the concept of what, "CUSTOMER SERVICE", means almost entirely. So with all of that in mind, please try to have an empathetic approach to all, if not most of the overworked underpaid employees of fast food restaurants. Thank you and God Bless...

How about putting a big sign beside the price of drinks stating the 0 tolerance of a refill once the customers step out whats going to happen to the customer that enjoys the meals in...
Read moreNeeded a restroom after driving from Santa Rosa to Vallejo which took 2-1/2 hours in stop and go traffic--opted for this instead of a gas station. Restroom is locked and for customers only so husband stood in line for a root beer...a woman and her teen daughter left abruptly after standing at the inside counter waving their money for at least 5 min. I finally caught the eye of an employee who agreed to buzz me through to the locked restroom, which was messy and unstocked and overall filthy. When I came back out, I found my husband still standing at the counter with his drink receipt in his hand. The girl had neglected to hand him a paper cup after ringing up just the drink! (There were no other inside customers, but the drive through window was relatively busy.) We flagged another employee down for the cup and she said, "Oh, I forgot."....So if you're either hungry or especially if nature is hollering, for heaven's sake...
