Refreshed Barbershop & Supply — Local services in Vallejo

Was hunting around on Yelp for barbers in the area. Came very close to saying F-it and just go to SuperCuts. Luckily I didn’t!

Called the shop and was able to book a last minute appointment with Keandre. Upon arrival, the first thing I noticed was that the environment was major comfortable and relaxed. All the barbers were good peoples. That’s damn near more important to me than the haircut itself. I don’t like walking into unknown territories and the vibe is all off.

Within a couple of minutes of Keandre starting on my hair, I already knew he was going to be dope. You can tell when a barber got hands. At that point I just stayed quiet and let him do whatever he was gon do.

When he handed me the mirror at the end, I was shocked. My cut was tight as F*. No joke, that was the tightest haircut I dun had in years. I was like cool, I finally found the right barber! When I pulled my hat off at the Wutang concert later that evening, even my patnas was trippin off my haircut and commented on it.

A very Welcoming environment. From the time you walk in the staff is very friendly and make sure you are comfortable while you wait.They offer refreshments as well as have several t.v’s with the games or movies playing. My son always HATED haircuts because the barbers treated him like he was older and would just sit BUT Razor got him over that he made sure he was comfortable and he showed him and told him everything he was doing so it wasn’t a surprise, he even would converse with him about school, sports and music just to ensure a smooth service and my son now looks forward to whatever COOL LOOK Razor has up for him. First time I went in, I was very happy and couldn't wait to come back. Second time I went, they closed as soon as they seen me pull up to the front of the business a whole hour and a half before closing. Third time I went and the barber ignored everything I said. He didn't taper my hair the way I asked, he ignored the cowlick I told him about, I have an uneven part on the top of my head where my short hair meets the long hair on top. I even asked him to line up my beard around my neck line and he butchered it. All because the barber was too distracted with the movie. If I wanted a garbage haircut for 55 dollars I would have went to supercuts and lit the remaining 40 dollars on fire. Not...
