Benelli’s Pizzeria — Restaurant in Valparaiso

Saw some photos on my feed of a new pizza place in Valpo. We decided to stop in and try them out. They have a few tables available so we hung out, ordered, ate a slice and packed the rest up for home.

If your close by, Carry out may be best as the dine in area is limited. We learned that the detroit style is in high demand and with limited supply so it can sell out not long after opening.

Pan tossed it is. I got the Chicago Combo which is italian beef, pinched sausage, hot giardiniera, red sauce and signature cheese blend. The wife got the Chicken, Bacon, Ranch which is a ranch sauce, sliced chicken, excellent bacon bits and crumbles, and signature cheese.

The Pizza was excellent and the prices cannot be beat for the taste and quality. Really want to try the Detroit style as thats why we made the trip initially,maybe we will get a chance after the hype settles down or they find a way to produce more of...

I dont eat out much, but had to try this new pizza joint in valpo.

The atmosphere alone is enough to keep coming back. The pizza was amazing, came out quickly, was a generous portion for the price, and I honestly cant say enough good things about it. We had the Detroit OG, and I would highly reccomend this one to anyone unfamiliar with Detroit style, or who is looking for that authentic feel.

Serving was quick, everybody was attentive and wanted to ensure the dining experience was above and beyond. Got to speak with the owner, very nice guy, you can tell this is his baby. From the presentation to the taste & atmosphere, this place has got IT.

Will be coming back and trying all the other options they have. They have quite a few options, forsure something for everybody.

This was a very delicious twist on Detroit style pizza every bit was loaded with flavor from the top dollop of fresh ricotta to the spicy pepperoni to the shaved parm and fresh sausage we also enjoyed the cheesy garlic bread we got the og Detroit style pizza the vibes remind me of a classic pizzeria the lemonade is a must highly recommended can’t wait to see what the future holds for these guys Valpo pizza competitors...
