Met Kevin the owner immediately upon entering. I actually didn't know what kind of shop it was, I'd only seen a single FB post about it's existence. The shop is very neat and tidy, and very clean. There are a handful of arcade games, which is what appeals to me the most, but there's tons of other stuff too. Funkopops, comic books, games, movies, anime stuff, ect. There's a nice seating area around a large TV where Kevin explained they host video game tournaments and casual play events. I'll definitely be back in to check out one of the events. I'm hopeful and excited for this young entrepreneur and his business! Monthly show is advertised as a Comic and Card Show. They charge $3 entry per person. We asked at the entry table if they had a lot vendors selling comics at the show. He told us they had a lot of comic vendors. We took this as there being a good selection of comics available to buy. Out of 20 vendors, they had only ONE comic seller. He had a few boxes of $1 comics and some wall books. The other table he had was cards. So not even a full vendor of comics. On the way out, I asked for a refund for the entry guy blatantly misleading us on what the show had to offer. They refused so now Ill make sure others know how much of a scam this show is. For us weebs and Otaku, it's nice to see a small family owned business. Great location, outside of downtown Valpo with the 7/11 next door and tax service. Met the owners, great people. I always find a gem or 2 there on their wall of anime or goodies they have. Plenty of Funko pops, t-shirts, even had some blankets there. A one stop shop for all your comic/manga needs. A+...
