Arrived shortly before 8:00 for the Hallmark Premier July 14th. There was already a line waiting to get into the store which is normal. When the store opened, I went right through the store to stand in line to pick-up my pre-order after being told by a clerk that the limited quantity ornaments I wanted were behind the checkout counter and I could obtain at time of checkout. The line for check-out was about the same as that outside the store - about 25 people ahead of me. I could not believe how slow the line moved - in fact the line hardly moved at all for the first 40 minutes. About this time, I noticed that a lady ahead of me had one of the limited quantity ornaments I wanted - obviously, the clerk I spoke with did not provide me with valid information. All told, it was 2 hours of standing in line and checking out - and I was not able to get the limited edition ornaments I wanted as they were gone. The store did take my name and phone number to see if they could get the ornaments from another location, but all and all, I was very disappointed. Better organization and customer service for these events needs to happen.
I was contacted later the same day of the premier that the limited quantity ornaments I wanted were available and were set aside for me if I still wanted them. I overheard when I went to purchase them, that families of the staff had went to other Hallmark stores to purchase limited quantity ornaments in order to please their customers.
