Worst physical therapy I've ever been to. I broke my right elbow and went in for therapy to ensure increased range of motion. While they did help with that, as my therapy progressed, I mentioned that my left shoulder was hurting doing some of the therapies. They never stuck around to make sure my form was correct, only staying long enough to get me on a machine and get started before moving on to the next client while I did my reps. There were never enough therapists for one on one attention. I have been to several physical therapists in my life and I've never been left on my own to perform the exercises. Someone always watches your form the entire session. At the end of therapy, I ended up with a torn rotator cuff and now have to have it repaired. I'd never go back there.
The staff were nice, but understaffed and didn't give enough personal attention. George especially is knowledgeable but unfortunately, just too busy to take care of each patient's individual needs.
Additionally, I was told my insurance covered treatment and my copay was $15. They charged me $15 each session. What they didn't tell me is they weren't a preferred provider for my insurance. At the end of my treatments I ended up with a bill for almost $1000 out of pocket. They should have let me know that my insurance would not cover the charges and given me the choice to continue rather than giving me the false belief that I only had...
Read moreI’ve had physical therapy a couple of times before for work-related injuries, and while those experiences were helpful, they always felt a bit cold and impersonal—like I was just being run through the motions to satisfy insurance requirements.
This time, I chose PT on my own to get a handle on some lower back issues, and I’ve never actually looked forward to therapy the way I do now with ATI. The clinic is filled with friendly, personable staff who take a genuine interest in their work and in their patients. Even though my commute sometimes makes me run a little late (and they do have a firm tardiness policy, as most medical clinics in the PNW do), the team has been accommodating and understanding.
Most importantly, my PT, Elsie, is amazing. She’s helped me feel better week after week, and I couldn’t recommend her—or ATI PT Vancouver—more highly. What a...
Read moreI have had to make multiple calls to the billing department trying to correct their mistaken co-pay amount. They called the wrong phone number at my insurance and kept calling the same incorrect number several times trying to confirm the amount. I believe it is now taken care of, but will not know until my next visit. A lot of frustration that was unnecessary if the billing department had simply called the correct number that is clearly listed on the back of my insurance card. I also asked them to simply get online look up the location And type of procedure, Physical Therapy, And they were unwilling to take this simple step that would have clearly showed them the correct amount. The service at the location has been excellent and would highly recommend others to use their service. Billing department...
