This afternoon I visited this store and noticed a person was taking out a box of perfume and then left without paying for it. I approached the security guard and asked if they had cameras in the store? And the security guard replied yes, so I told him that the person leaving was taking the perfume without paying. The guard told me that they were not authorized to stop or follow him, and I warned him before this person left.
It seems illogical and somewhat silly to me that when I pay for what I would buy, the guard, still looking at me to pay, asked me for my receipt when I left to prove that.
How illogical that people who really steal cannot be stopped and those who stop to pay are asked for their receipt. Sometimes they even make you feel uncomfortable because they follow you in the store just because of your racial profile thinking that...

I later then returned to the store, 10 minutes before they closed and was immediately greeted by an associate who was guarding the door...looking down on her phone, texting out in the open. Soon as i walked in she looked up at me and said in a rude demeanour, "You know we're going to be closing in 5 minutes." I was completely aware... The associates name was Olga by the way. Offended enough ..I then go back to the dressing room to grab my items that were placed on hold and none of it was there. Marlina did not acknowledge me the whole time she had helped my family an I. I had the receipt for my return and explained how the button fell off an she ignored me. Marlina didn't make my family and I feel welcome, we ended up leaving shortly after with no purchases, because the encounter with Marlina was so unsettling sadly. Marlina did not make us feel welcome to the point that we would rather shop somewhere else.
