I really wanted to enjoy shopping at Retail Therapy Boutique, but unfortunately, my experiences here have consistently left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome.
Each time Iâve visited, Iâve felt hounded by the younger employee â repeatedly approached with suggestions that donât align with my style, even after I've made it clear that I prefer to browse on my own. People like to shop, not be sold, and the constant pressure makes it hard to enjoy the experience.
What stood out most was the way I was treated when I didnât make a purchase. I still thanked the employee on my way out, only to be met with silence and a mean glare. I canât imagine an owner treating a customer this way, so I have to assume it was the younger employee; either way, it left a lasting negative impression.
After reading other reviews, itâs clear that Iâm not the only one who has experienced this kind of treatment. Thatâs incredibly disappointing.
I work in sales myself, and I know not every visit results in a sale. However, courtesy and kindness should never depend on whether someone makes a purchase. Unfortunately, this behavior has made it clear this isnât a place I want to support, and I wonât be returning. Iâve already shared my experience and will continue to share it with friends, family, neighbors, and on social media to help others avoid the same disrespectful and uncomfortable treatment.
I truly hope this feedback is taken seriously, because customers deserve to be treated with basic kindness...

I turned toward the owner, waved my hand at her and brightly said âThank you and goodbyeâ . She returned my gesture with an angry scowl and a disapproving head shake, then turned her back to me and walked away. I stood there not comprehending what this non-verbal communication was all about. I have never been treated so rudely and I am not sure over what. Could it be that I didnât buy anything?    Read moreI really liked their merchandise and had fun shopping there. unfortunately their return policy is really strict and inflexible. I bought two sundresses and was out of town for two weeks. I went back to return the items and discovered their return policy is only 7 days. When I explained, I was out town, there was not flexibility. When I asked for a store credit, still no flexibility. I would have continued to shop there but this experience changed my mind. Most places are two weeks to 30 days for returns 7 days...
