I'm contacting you guys because I want to tell you Valvoline folks. My experience with a employee, his name is rylan , idk if I'm spelling that right.but I came into one of your locations today, and was absolutely blown away by the experience and knowledge that rylan the tech had when it comes to cars and serviceing cars.and, more than anything the'Customer"service was the best I've ever had.its been hard to find a reliable shop that can servers my vehicle ,and be able to give such good customers service all-in-one. more then anything I've gone to multiple shops over the past few years and most of the time I run into inadequate technicians" that don't know what they're doing. I've had to leave so many shops and look for other places because I refuse to have my car worked on by people that don't know anything about servicing vehicle...and I know that many other people have an issue with finding a reliable trustworthy place where they can trust the technicians to know what they are doing .... because, after all at the end of the day a brand is a brand but it matters who you have working for you. Sure you'll have people that will go to certain places because it's in commercials it's worldwide. but I can promise you nine times out of 10 people go back to certain shops because of the technician. Not because of the name or the brand of the store!!! I think somewhere along the "line SOMEHOW that disconnect has played out with a'lot of business. And I can give you a example I used to go to this Mexican food shop for years and years but I stopped going. and you want to know why because they fired the people that can cook and .hired people that can't cook!!! ........ .. So what I'm trying to say is I will continue to come back to the store because of rylan not because of your well known brand name company it's Because he knows what he's doing and he's a really good technician.and I don't care if I went to a piece of dump oil change shop that nobody's ever heard of . if they have people working there like Rylan that actually know what they're doing and give good customer service. I'm going to go there again and again and again..
I just wanted you guys to know that you now have a lifelong"customer because of your associate rylan . I will continue to go back to your. Store because of this tech Rylan and the amazing service he provided"and plan to tell friends and family about the trusty"worthy tech you have. Here...
Read moreI've been getting the oil changed here on the same vehicle (currently with 301,000 miles) for the past 5+ years. Today, after having been checked in by one person, another person comes to the computer and asks if I've been here before with another vehicle, then starts asking me questions about that other vehicle. I finally ask why he's asking about a previous vehicle. He tells me this is the 1st time that this vehicle has been here, and he was trying to see if there was info in the system on me that could be transferred over to this vehicle. All of that seemed very odd, especially considering that I had already checked in by another employee. I asked him, "How can all of the information on a particular vehicle suddenly disappear?" He had no answer for that question. After reviewing the receipt once I got home, I noticed in the customer information area, the only bit of information that was correct was my name. The address was a bogus address in a city 25 miles away from the town I live in. I hope the actual oil change service was better than the computer information part of...
Read moreOil change is worth the convenience fee if only one of your cars is due and you don’t want to deal with recycling the oil. Although they tighten it so much that it’s difficult to change it yourself next time.
After I got my oil changed, they said I needed all new filters, battery, serpentine belt, and all new fluids for my radiator, transmission, front differential, rear differential, and transfer case. All of this totaling upwards of $1,000.
I passed on it since I knew my belt was fine and not all of that sounded right. I went to a scheduled appointment at my mechanic to fix the AC, and his tests showed all my maintenance fluids were fine and there was nothing wrong with the belt or my battery.
Anyways, I think it’s a waste of resources, time, and money for everyone involved to push services that are unnecessary. I especially didn’t like the scare tactic of saying my battery had to be replaced or my car wouldn’t start this winter. I hope this doesn’t happen to other people and cause them to pay for services they...
