Black Rock Coffee Bar — Restaurant in Vancouver

Been there regularly for a long time, this place has less than impressed the last few months. Today we went and the service was garage and the coffee is so burnt we can’t even drink it and this is about the fifth time but we keep giving them chances. So Not sure what’s been happening but it’s not good. At least pretend you are excited for customers (especially regulars) and fix the coffee. Way too many competitors in the area for this nonsense. also, can we stop with the attitude? It’s absolutely ridiculous that you have to treat people the way you have been. I love ordering a drink and having my barista roll her eyes in disgust for having to do her job. I tip well too. Every time. This used to be the best coffee place in town and now between their attitudes and the lack of even attempting to make good coffee, they’re one of the worst. I’d rather waste my time at Dutch bros getting fake nice at least. Funny how they treat the rich guy in the cyber truck who only tips them because of their looks gets top notch service but is regular...

I’ve only gone to this location maybe a handful of times, but they also mess up my order, despite me clarifying it and verifying it multiple times. They’ve given me Italian soda, instead of the caffeine fuels, and forgotten flavors completely. It’s quite frustrating, I try to avoid this location for this exact reason, I’ve never had any issues with any of the black rocks in the area besides this one.

Today, I ordered 2 XL fuels, it was dead silent out; I had to repeat the orders 5 times and the guy on the headset was still confused; they handed us the drinks and they looked wrong. Took a couple sips, and once again, gave us Italian sodas instead of iced fuels with the wrong flavors. I was too tired to go through the drive thru or go inside again to have them fix it.

It’s very disappointing.

If you want black rock, I would avoid this location, their order accuracy...

Every time I come by here the service is just TERRIBLE! I get more shocked every visit….. they never greet you or smile nor ask about your day nothing just eye rolls and attitude! I used to work as a barista myself and I could never treat anyone that way it’s unbelievable. On top of that I always love to tip because I use to work in that industry so i understand but half the time they won’t even ask me, like What? I’m always so nice to them and try and keep giving them chances but I’m done.

There coffee always taste so burnt and just nasty, I always get an Irish and every time I get it from this location it’s so bitter!
