I entered the store and was greeted by an associate who asked me what I was there for. I told him I had security questions. He asked me what kind of questions. I said I wanted to know more about SIM swap attacks and how to protect from them. He proceeded to give me a lecture on how I need to protect my phone and make sure no one else has physical access to it, with kind of a strange condescending attitude. I asked how to protect from the attack. He said that you can enable a SIM card PIN through the phone settings. I went home and Googled SIM swap attack. He wasn't even close. And yes I need to work with the provider (in this case Verizon) to lock down my account in order to prevent the attack. But the associate turned me away with the wrong information. It ceases to amaze me how little Verizon staff knows about the products they support and are so willing to make things up on the spot. At least I didn't have to wait in line for an hour...

The 3 times we have been to this location, the staff has been curt and inept. They didn’t even try to be friendly and are definitely not knowledgeable... They couldn’t answer any of our questions or give us the options on our phone or account. So why even go here??? That is literally their job. To help you. To suggest options and sell you things.    Read moreThis store opened at 10am and I was the second person in the store. You wait outside for someone to check you in, then someone comes out to get you and provide you with customer service. The woman that helped me was very friendly and helpful. I wish I could get them to actually do the thing that I went in to get help with. I do however understand that they want to remain contactless as much as possible. I bought an SD card and it was normally $29.99 but it was on sale for $8. What a savings. I scored.
