Ichi Teriyaki 19 — Restaurant in Vancouver

This Is absolutely my favorite Japanese food in clark county. Everytime is a great experience. Prices might seem a little high until you get your food they are not afraid to give huge portion sizes. Go hungry or be prepared to take some great food home. I go to the east Vancouver location now that I leave near here but use to go to the battleground location they are both great. A buddy years ago told me to try the chicken katsu which doesn't sound like a very good mix but it is without a doubt my favorite there. Their teriyaki chicken is also great. Not sure if the owner is the lady at the east Vancouver counter seems like shes always there she is always very nice.

After hours and hours of school shopping with kids, I was exhausted and decided its a take out kind of night. We usually go to the Ichi in Washougal but it was already closed so we went to the location on 192nd. When we arrived they were closing in 15 mins. I asked if they are still taking orders and the lady said yes. I said okay, I gave her my order and she said about 10 mins. 10 mins later we were on our way home to unload the car and eat. Once we sat down to eat we started with the egg flower soup. Which unfortunately was spoiled. It smelled spoiled and tasted the same. I had to throw all 4 soups away. Sorry i can only describe one bad experience. Went in on CHRISTMAS EVE. Before eating (had every intention to try it for lunch) I went over to bathroom to wash hands etc. sort of surprised some teenage girl working there followed me to door. Seeing it full i started to turn around but occupant came out i started to go in and she started yelling customers only (I am well groomed 62 yr old IT professional) I said i would be right out. Upon exiting she was still waiting by door and started customer only. I decided she was rude and just walked out.
