Came in at about 6pm on a Wednesday to get a few small things for a project. I stayed for over an hour and during my visit I was not approached, greeted or asked if I was finding everything okay. I only saw 3 employees on the floor, none of which made more than a split second of eye contact with me. It's not as if I looked like I wanted to be left alone, I had my very sweet 1 1/2 yo dog with me. Every other customer that walked by us either had a big smile or asked to pet my dog. When I had a question about an item location there were no employees to be found within 3-5 isles, and if I did see one they pretended like I didn't exist. I ended up using the app to find all my items. One of those items was not on the shelf, but showed a case in inventory. I located it in top stock and had to help myself as there were no employees within a 5 isle radius. Don't worry Home Depot, I use to manage a stock team. I got that item case cut for you and the box broken down. I needed some cable cut. There was of course, no one remotely near me, and no call button at the cutting station, so I ended up getting a precut length that was less than ideal. The only person to talk to me was the cashier. When asked if I found everything okay I had to answer "no". When I told her my experience she was shocked and encouraged me to fill out their survey on the receipt. I've never had such a poor experience at a Home Depot before. I hope they were just thrown off by daylight savings or something. Let's hope that next time goes smoother. Fingers crossed!

I have always loved going to Home Depot! I never thought i'd be writing them a less than stellar review either! Here it goes, I had went in for a blinds measurement a few weeks ago. Setting that up was pretty painless and the tech came in took the measurement. He was on time and great! Fast forward a week or so, I go in to pick out blinds for my home. The gal who helped me Allison had really no clue what she was doing. I waited for over and hour while she kept having to go back and restart the process due to her having issues ordering. In the meantime she started talking about a frequent customer and complaining about how he is always here. I was a little taken back as you'd want the business your working at to have frequent or return customers. She was also having a good time talking to her co-workers while I am still waiting for her to figure out the order. After many failed attempts she finally asked for help from this very nice older gentleman. He was able to place my order AND let me know for the blinds I had selected there was a 30 percent off SALE! This was as he was ringing me up for the sale! I was really upset with Allison not knowing about the sale. I have 8 rooms to put blinds in and custom installed blinds are not cheap! I even had to only go with doing 7 rooms and keeping one blindness till I could afford it. This still put me over 1,000 dollars. If I had known about the coupon I would have been able to put blinds in every room of my home no problem. I expressed how upset I was but Allison was in no mood to re-do my order. When I get home I went over my order and realized she had, had them mailed to my house and not the company installing them even thought on two occasions I sai I do not want them sent to my home. I was upset about this because my area is notorious for people stealing packages and I am worried they will get stolen as my Husband and I work full-time. Secondly, I saw no where on my paperwork that states a technician would be coming out or even a number to call for said technician. I called the store the next day and no one was available in the Blinds department to help me. I was promised a call back. The day after that I called again. Again no one was available. I spoke with the assistant manager who assured me he would be putting a note in my chart to have someone call me back. Yesterday I call back for the third time. I get a nice gentleman who assures me he will get to the bottom of this and see when and who will be coming out to install my blinds but he never called me back. I was upset because he said he knows people at the store are not good at calling people back but hes not like that. But ALAS he did not call back. All I need to know is when my technician will be ordered and when he or she will be coming out to install my blinds! I am so disappointed and frustrated with the staff at Home Depot. I have spoken to 15 people in 5 days between having my calls transferred all around the store total and I am at my breaking point. I am probably going to return the blinds and just go with LOWES...

I have given Andresen Home depot a low rating. This is because for the last year or so I have come into the store to purchase an item, and not being able to find the item I have stopped an employee to ask where I could find it. The answer I got most of the time was, "I am not sure, but I think it is in aisle such and such;" but it is never there. I have walked by employees just wandering thru the store, passing customers, and not offering to help them or myself. The one that bothers me the most was in the last week of December I called Home Depot, got the hardware area, and asked them if they had any Cascade stove pellets on location. They said they had the Cascade pellets there. When I arrived to pick them I went to the cashier, and asked for a ton of the Cascade pellets. The clerk said the only pellets we have were the 24 bags by the door of a different brand, and they didn't even have any more of them. After much discussion, I asked her to go around to the south end of the building and see if they had a ton of pellets there because that's whsre they found them another time they saud they didn't have any, which they did. If I hadn't insisted on her checking, she would have sent me away with only 24 bags and not a ton. Because I was sick I went ahead and purchase a ton of the lesser quality of pellets for my Father-in-law on Hospice. Otherwise I would have gone somewhere else. This is not the first time I have been given incorrect information from this store concerning pellets and other items. I have been told to go to a store in another town for the Cascade pellets when they said they were out. After traveling to that town, I found they didn't even have a Home Depot there. My wife and I are thru shopping at the Andresen Home Depot. We are tired of the lack of service, the incorrect information, being directed to the wrong area of the store for what we are looking for, and the aisles overflowing with carts and boxes of merchandise causing difficulty walking...

DO NOT BUY YOUR VINYL FLOORING HERE! We recently purchased a new home and knew that we needed to have flooring done because of the current condition. We had carpet done in the past through Home Depot and thought it would be a breeze. Not even close! We have a small business, so we planned for three days off to get the installers in and out in a timely fashion. They scheduled the job out a few weeks and we didn’t mind as this helped accommodate the schedule. On Wednesday, the first day, they came in and tore out the old carpet and floating floor. The Home Depot measuring technician didn’t account for the tile tear out and therefore they added an additional $500.00 on the spot to have 84sq feet pulled up. Once the floor was pulled they started laying the vinyl. We were then told that romanoff, the sub for Home Depot, wouldn’t do the install because it could not be done correctly for warranty purposes. I told them I would sign off on it to be done and spoke to every super up the chain but nothing was done to help me. The contractor packed up and LEFT! I then called a local company to have the job completed by the end of Thursday, because you see, I still had them coming back for carpet on Friday. I was successful in getting the vinyl done in one day by a local guy and thought I was home free. I texted romanoff and asked if we were still on for 9-12 install on Friday and received a confirmation. I got up early and waited, and waited, and waited. I called at 12:30pm and asked where they were. The Home Depot informed me that I didn’t have the vinyl installed and they had canceled the carpet install! We called everyone we could to solve the problem and to no avail. By that afternoon we had to pick up our own carpet and I got another company last minute to do an install on a Sunday! This mess caused us so much stress that I will never be recommending this pair of companies again. I will always hire local where I know that I am supporting a family run...
