During this pandemic a lot of us have forgotten how to cook food for ourselves. So bless these employees for saving us. This location, however, seems to be an especially popular choice. It felt like a Best Buy on Black Friday the last time I was there. Only the employees were actually helpful.
I last went on a weekday around dinner time and was the 8th or 9th person in a very congested drive thru. I ordered a plate, but after my order had been confirmed and paid for, I was informed that one of the items on my order was not available and needed time to cook. I felt bad asking them to make it, but I wasn't familiar enough with the menu to wing it. So they asked me to pull into a designated spot in front of the building. I did, and walked inside to wait.
There were at least four other people inside the building waiting for online orders such, but half the country was waiting to be served in the normal line. I did have to wait a while for the food to be made, (when you're hungry, times feels like eternity, right?) but I didn't mind because not one employee was standing idly.
I was eventually talked to by who I assume was a manager or owner (as he was wearing black), who, in a sea of chaos, noticed that I had been standing quietly in the back for some time. Dodging his coworkers, he switched what was a unexpected, minor inconvenience, into a genuine interaction with someone who wanted to take care of my situation. I felt good after receiving my food and walking back to my car.
I've had Panda Express a handful of times -- the food was what I expected it to be (good). But what makes this Panda Express special is the staff's willingness to work hard during loud and busy times. Greatly appreciate the solid...
Read morei think this is my first bad review i have written.
went to this panda today on my lunch break, the lobby was full with people eating at the booths which i thought was a good thing. ordered my food, half chow mein and half fried rice with orange chicken and bejing beef. my go to order and the person preparing my order was polite and kind while the guy running the register was emotionless, asked for teriyaki sauce to go with my order and the cashier proceeds to put 3 or 4 scoops of teriyaki on only my rice and noodles soaking them completely leaving the meat untouched, cool i guess, not what i wanted. sat down to eat my now pretty much ruined order and the bejing beef was stiff, dry and had no flavor but being spicier than usual and pretty much same goes for the orange chicken. no problem ill get meat and the rice or noodles in a bite, nope those are ruined. the noodles were dry and even while being dripping in teriyaki they were still dry and brittle, rice was also stiff and dry like you made rice the previous night and left it in the rice cooker. everything on this plate i ordered tasted and felt like its been out since last night, i went in at around noon on friday 8/30/24.
only good part about this was the lemonade thing they offer at panda, i forget the flavor but it was the purple one
complete waste of 17 dollars and the gas it took to get there, i highly suggest avoiding this panda express as much as humanly possible
although the guy that prepared my order was great, 10/10...
Read moreHonestly, I don't like to complain, but the food was not good and the presentation was less than desirable. 2/3's of the container was fried rice. I had originally requested plain white rice, but the server had erred and placed fried rice in the container. To his credit he asked if he could scoop it out and replace it, but I told him to just leave it because I figured the mess in the container would be worse if he did as he suggested. Now I remember why I stopped ordering the fried rice....NASTY! Oh my gosh, absolutely no taste whatsoever, and greasy, greasy, greasy! Yuck! There was literally 1/2 cup of orange chicken and approximately 1/2 cup broccoli beef. Some of the broccoli was very old with fresher broccoli thrown on top. The beef? Where's the beef? Literally 3 tiny little pieces of meat that looked just exactly like the canned Friskies Sliced Beef for cats. I kid you not. And then to add insult to injury, the fried rice was mixed in both the orange chicken and the broccoli beef. All mixed in like it was part of the two independent recipes. It looked like something that would be fed to a pig. Slop.
I am totally disgusted with Panda Express, but after a very long day I didn't feel like getting back in my car to return it. I just will not buy Panda Express...
