I've been going to journey home for about 20 years and have seen management changes and ownership. For the past 4 years it has never been the same with the employees. Their main focus is what they can sell and not on the needs for the consumer. the energy has changed so much because they don't focus on the consumer, where before the staff always showed interest on the consumer and educate them on everything that they have and they help them find what they need because they had the knowledge and experience of the product. Rather the experience I had recently, the staff showed no interest and just sat and played on his phone. On top of that they raised the prices of the stones and crystals. When I asked about it he says it's because the company raised the prices. From my research prices of stones and crystals are priced by the abundance of the earth provides. As much as I love Journey home I have lost complete trust in their business just by the conversation I had with worker. I can get what they sell for half the price...

Please don’t bring your children here. They’re not friendly towards them. Two employees (one of them named Chloe) had the nerve to speak horribly about my 2 yr old son and when we confronted them they said it was a misunderstanding yet everything was said clear as day. They also stated many times that the dogs they keep inside the store are very dangerous, so I brought it to their attention on how that can be harmful to others and a huge liability but she had no answers as to why they would keep the dogs around customers. Chloe if you’re really planning on being a 3rd grade teacher, but lack the knowledge on how children work, well I’d choose a new career path, and to the manager, shame on you for tolerating such behavior. I love shop. The first time walked throug the doors I was going through the worst heartbreak Of my life. Kim, the owner ( Rest In Peace) Hugged me and we started chatting as she was unpacking boxes i helped her and we talked for 3 hours and she was so insightful and kind and eased my heartache. She was such a genuinely caring, sweet woman. I am grateful for her having the doors open that day and for the compassion and kindness she showed me. Also, that her grandchildren continue her legacy and that the doors remain open. The staff is so knowledgeable and they have so many beautiful Items that they take time hang pick...plus . and ritual items. This is my go-to spot in Ventura for all things metaphysical. So...
