If it is possible to give you all 0, I would. I have to say, there are very few companies I can give that honor. Congrats! In age of customer service and the customer journey, this Claire's location fails on all accounts. If you are going to charge for shipping but offer free shipping to store, you better be ready to handle the pickup portion of transaction and make it seamless...but you have chosen not to even try. Let's discuss your clientele shall we.
Last I check, security on a $15 pair of earrings doesn't entail giving 7 different forms of ID. I happened to be out of town when my order arrived. To make the transaction easier for you all (as I have had many run ins with confused Claire's employees), I made the proactive call to you to let you know someone else would be picking them up; however, he had the email receipt/order receipt and the email saying the order was ready. You answer to me was that he needed to have my ID and a photo of me. Now how could he have my ID if I am out of town? The whole purpose of having him pick up the order was due to my absence. When I said he had numerous photos of me, your confusion only intensified as you went back on your word and said that no that wasn't enough and he needed my ID. We have been together 10 years, what other information do you want? Our first unborn child? If you are really worried about a 50+ year old man stealing $15 earrings, you may want to rethink your business plan.
Also, if you want to survive in this retail/online world, which is seems you don't, keep the customer informed. One email when purchased and when your order arrives isn't enough in this day. One must send a notification when an order is shipped and not leave the customer waiting and wondering. You are your brand and any bad experience during the customer journey reflects on you and your brand. Multiple bad experiences lead to defecting customers in the masses. You can count one more customer out after this evening's fiasco. Good luck keep...
Read moreI held my daughter's 9th birthday party here, and Andrea, Cristina and the rest of the staff did an amazing job! If I could leave 10 stars I would. They decorated the store with a happy birthday sign & streamers, and had a little cart for us to use. The girls played games, and then the staff painted their nails and did their hair (with gems, tinsel, etc), and at the end they got to do a little shopping. The store is only the smaller side so there is no place for cake/food so I took the girls to the frozen yogurt place directly across from the store. And the food court is around the corner for additional options. The whole party was so much fun, and all the girls in attendance had a blast. And this millennial mom had SO much fun reliving my childhood with a 90's mall themed birthday party! đ Aside from the party, all of the staff I encountered every time I came into the store in preparation for the party was so friendly and helpful, and the store is also very clean & well organized!...
Read moreWe just had a party here for my twin daughtersâ 9th birthday and it was a blast!! Andraya and her team did the BEST job making it so fun and special. The girls had a store scavenger hunt with prizes, got their nails painted and hair styled, and then went on a mini shopping spree with individual gift cards. Everyone had a great time and left the store with something special. Andraya outdid herself keeping the girls engaged and entertained, she is truly exceptional and deserves all the credit for this amazing morning. She helped me plan everything, took photos during the party, and even decorated the storefront with birthday banners and streamers, a welcome poster, and gifts with cards for my girls that were signed by the staff! I was blown away. Such a fun, unique gem of a party. A million thanks to Andraya and the team...
