I love the two level architecture for this location because both stores have different varieties of items on each level. I have never been to a Hallmark store that had two levels/sections. Super sweet/helpful friendly talkative sales associates which I really love and miss in retail. Huge variety of seasonal decor and good old hallmark classics. I discovered this location via a Facebook ad where it was displaying their elaborate Squishmallow displays and was so amazed by the variety in 5 years + of collecting, I have never seen so many Squishmallows of all different squads or sizes in one retail store. The squishmallows were a bit expensive but honestly I didn’t even mind because I understand that hallmarks are often small locally ran/owned businesses so I love to support those businesses . I was also blown away by the rules for the Squishmallows because this is the first store that has rules regarding Squishmallows which I completely respect them for that. As a long term collector, it’s really nice to see a excellent variety of squishmallows. I got with my mom squishmallows I actually have been wanting for a awhile so it was worth the trip even tho two of them are going away for the upcoming holidays XD Great store if you are looking for cute Knick knacks or gifts ,stunning seasonal decor and especially squishmallows! I hope to come back if the Holiday squad is on your shelves any time soon lol would definitely come back for seasonal...
Read moreCrazy, unhinged shopkeepers (watch out for the lady in the glasses)! Beware! My friends and I (all adults) got verbally attacked by a shop keeper because we had picked up a stuffed animals without seeing the super small signs saying not to touch them. After apologizing, she thought she misheard us, and aggressively came out from behind the counter (halfway across the store) demanding to know what was said. After informing her we had actually apologized, she continued to be irate, to the point of us leaving the store (and our friend not feeling comfortable ever stepping foot into it again.) Turns out teenage boys had come through punching and touching the merchandise. However, that doesn’t excuse them jumping to conclusions immediately and verbally attacking us. It’s extremely unprofessional to let your assumptions about someone’s tone dictate how you interact with them as a shopkeeper. Our friend was given a non apology of “sorry we misunderstood your tone and chased you out of the store, Covid has been hard.” Overall we experienced really gross behaviour. Definitely...
Read moreI will never shop in this store again. I was at the mall for a tween’s scavenger hunt and most employees at most stores were super friendly while the kids were photographing things and even gave them an item from their list for free (a shopping bag, piece of tissue paper, job application, etc), but not Hallmark! When asked for a piece of tissue paper, the clerk said no, not unless you make a purchase, which is completely understandable. Then they proceeded to call mall security to complain. These girls were being polite, careful, and bringing business to the mall. We spent hundreds of dollars there today, but none...
