12th Street Plaza — Local services in Vero Beach

Sunday a friend and I decided to take a short drive down to fort Pierce to see the last day of Christmas lights. Before the light show started we decided to have dinner and looked for a place that had outdoor seating. We found the Second Street Bistro. Tables were an acceptable spacing and we were pleased to see our waitress wiping it off before the hostess sat us. Before our waitress took our order she informed us that everything was firstly made and the wait time would be a little longer than a normal restaurant. It was not as bad as expected and we were pleased with our meals. She ordered chicken fettuccine I opted for the fresh Maui sandwich. The food arrived hot and was Served in a pleasing manner . While on vacation, we went to the Publix for some groceries that we needed for stocking up the refrigerator and freezer. The only reason why the rating wasn't a full five was because I unfortunately had to...use the facilities. The stall I ended up using was not pleasant. However, everything else was a nice experience, shopping wise. Sure the brands might be different from where I'm used to, but I don't mind that.

Now, I only visited the Publix. I have no clue what goes on inside the other stores/restaurants. They might have swayed the rating in either direction. However, rating 4...

A bustling plaza right on US1. Includes a very well kept Publix, a small Chinese take out place, Tuesday mornings shop, a dentist, a new sub shop, excellent nail place and planet fitness. Also a furniture store, Steinmart, and few other small places. Also shares a parking lot with carrabas, Starbucks (has drive thru!!!), takara hibachi, five guys, papa John's, ritas Italian ice and a few others. Parking can be challenging but be patient and kind.
