Sunshine Furniture — Local services in Vero Beach

I bought a bed set from Sunshine furniture, and had it delivered to my ocean front home in Vero Beach. When delivered the furniture was all unboxed except the mirror. The bed was set up first and had what appeared to be significant damage to the head board, The headboard was coming apart, The foot board was scratched in multiple places with one of the scratches as long as 3-4 inches. The drawer on the foot board was not working properly. I told the delivery people to stop the delivery and remove the bed, and return it. They called George back in the store, he told them to continue the delivery! So up came the night stands and the mirror despite my insistence that they not be delivered. After another 10 minutes they were writing things on the delivery form that they insisted I sign. Still not removing the furniture. I asked them to leave they would not, after 20 minutes or so I was really upset. I finally said I was calling law enforcement to get them out of my home after they continued to ignore what I was telling them. At that point they got really mad and they began to remove the furniture. Upon doing so they damaged the walls in multiple places, as they went down the stairs and hall. After 4 days I went to the store as no refund was posted to the account. George told me I had to pay a restocking fee which I refused. I had photos of the damage furniture. He did not inspect the furniture prior to its delivery to me. Saying it was his employees responsibility and not his. I looked at my receipt and there is not restocking fee listed on the receipt. I told him, that if he did not email me the copy of a refund I would have to dispute it on my credit card. The next day there was still no credit so I had to call the credit card company. I just got a new home in Fort Pierce this week. My mom came down here 3 years ago and her whole home came from sunshine furniture. So of course that was my first stop. Todd welcomed my fiancé and I and was so nice and helpful from the start. Not pushy what so ever and put us in the spots in the store we needed to go and gave us time and space to shop around. We got bedroom furniture and outdoor furniture and we could not be anymore happy with it. We had ideas in our heads and Todd listen and created the perfect custom color schemes for us and brought our ideas to life. Sunshine Furniture is a great furniture store.They have a huge showroom with tons of furniture and decor, and their furniture is beautiful and well made. They do discount a lot of things also. Jessica helped us pick out our furniture for our new home. She was really wonderful to work with and helped us so much in helping us find the right items. My furniture looks so beautiful. Their delivery men are so polite and professional and their after care is also wonderful. They came and adjusted some drawers for me and they are perfect.
