Giant Eagle Supermarket — Local services in Verona

I played power ball . I asked for four power ball tickets with xtra ball (power play). Then proceeded to buy 2 more tickets power ball , double play with xtra ball( power play)(went home and looked at my tickets) she only gave me one ticket with double play SCREWED EVERYTHING UP!

NEVER PLAY LOTTERY HERE! Completely illiterate I bought a bus connects card ask for the same amount it would be for a weekly pass. The same location who handles lottery, activates connects card. 25$ for emergency situation I wanted…. Giant Eagle put 25 on for a dated time of a week to use!!! So instead of having emergency transportation connects card for bus of 25$ I could use at my discussion she decided to actually put a date to use my $25 I went to get on the bus and had no money because I had no idea she gave me a dated card. When I confronted them they wouldn’t even put money back on my card so I literally threw $25 in the garbage when I walked in that store. And again with the Powerball they waste my time...

I typically go to Market District in Fox Chapel, but it was late, so I decided to make a quick run here. Boy, it would have been worth driving out to Fox Chapel!!! This is the worst Giant Eagle! I was only to the first part of the veggies and was already realizing I should have gone to the other store. ALL of the stocks of celery were damaged. They had been frozen and then thawed.. you know how i mean right, ladies? Lettuce was the same. The bananas were the only thing that was decent. The store was just a mess. Plus, they were out of a bunch of stuff and don't offer as much. I will say... the girl standing at the self check out was very friendly. That was refreshing. I guess I'm just spoiled by Market District with all they have to offer, plus the ability to check out my groceries as I shop. It just saves so much time and frustration. As small as this store is, they should consider it so that there are no longer lines...

Over Christmas time I do Santa at different locations. My wife and I had to stop in for a few things. I’m dressed as Santa because I was returning from gig. A manager told me that I had to leave!! I couldn’t come in their store dressed as Santa!! I said I’m here with my wife picking up a few items. The manager said that I would have to go out side and wait in the parking lot. Now I’m not a hypocrite or anything and I have nothing against anybody. But they have an employee that dresses in goth style. Full blown makeup and the works. You’re right, so what. But isn’t it a bit hypocritical to pick and choose who can come into your store in costume. What about Halloween. If someone swings in for a six pack in costume do they ask them to leave. Now I still shop there, not in costume of course. And the manager was a woman. Was she the store manager? I don’t know. Could have been a...
