Well on September 7, 2016 I ordered a lift chair for my 76 year old mother that broke her shoulder. Ruth was my saleslady. She was very nice and helpful. She ordered a chair for my mother and told me that it would be 4 to 6 weeks before we received the chair. She also told me that since my mother needed it so quickly she would push that lane company to have it here faster. She of course does not remember that. I had two witnesses that heard that. She handed me a paper invoice that showed my 500.00 cash down payment.I went over there October 26, and Ruth wasn't there but I talked to the ladies at front desk that were not friendly at all. I don't think they ever even made eye contact with me. Well 7 weeks later, still no chair. SO, in this time frame, my mother healed. She no longer needed the chair. She needed the chair in the time frame we were given. Ruth did not go over all the little fine print with me. She did not explain the policy to me. Yes, I should have read the whole thing that covers their butt in every angle! But I don't think Ruth had time for that. I gave her my mother's 500 dollars in good faith. She has bought a lot of furniture at this store in the past and asked me to go there because they were a reputable company! Well she did not get her 500 dollars back, no chair. She was given store credit that she does not want, does not need! They have robbed a 76 year old widow of her 500 dollars and will not budge on giving her back her money! We all know there are ways to work around a store policy! But, it takes people with power or money which she does not have. I hope they are happy for screwing my mother out of her money. Had they kept their end up and getting her the chair on time, maybe she would have kept the chair if she liked it. Who needs one after that long?? So mad at these people!! All I can say is READ THE FINE PRINT ON SPECIAL ORDERS! THEY WILL SCREW YOU AND THEY DON'T CARE IF THEY DO! Never will I go there again and I will not recommend it to anyone!! I am responsible for not reading the policy. They are responsible for not reading it to me!! They should have!! That is what makes a reputable company!!!! Now she has store credit probably will never go there! This is bad...
Read moreThe Kamin furniture - delivery team brought me The Kamin furniture - delivery team brought me a defective, leather sofa - defective on the front of the cushions, and when I took them my cushions, they told me that this happened after they delivered them, we left our house right after the delivery & were not home, till late & left again early the next morning on the 18th, but my husband took a few pictures of the furniture before we left... I noticed Sunday the defective cushions, .. left for church, & after that called kamins soon as they opened, & was given the run around, I brought the cushions to them, at the store,, and a blonde very rude lady in the office told me that the sofa defect happened after they delivered it.. i told her - there is no way ... For one thing I'm a Christian... And I'm willing to take a lie detector test to show that I am not lieing, also if this is not resolved... I may have to seek legal advice.⚕️ Why were they so nice till now? I just want this corrected,, and give me a sofa that is not flawed & defective, Come on Mr. Kamin-- help!😥
Post review... Well I talked to Danyel about 3 days later, and then a few days went by... & She called me, & told me that in two weeks they would bring me another sofa to replace the defective one. Thank you Mr. Kamin-- & Danyel for coming thru & helping to resolve this matter. The sofa is nice...
Read moreSales Lady was Awesome and Genuinely kind and helpful!!! However when it came to customer service regarding furniture we purchased right after Hurricane Harvey 2018. Harvey in 2017 but by the time we got our home back together it was 2018….. We purchased several pieces from them. We purchased a Sofa/Loveseat. We also purchased the additional warranty (top to bottom)including upholstery. The Love Seat electric went out. It took months for them to show up. It’s not like we didn’t have anything to do. Still trying to get out home back together. Then the back in the Sofa was warped and wouldn’t go back in place. They couldn’t fix it. So being it was only a couple months old and we purchased insurance. We asked just to replace. That took another month for debate. Then ultimately it was a flat out no! That was authorized by Mr Kamin. We will never go back! Not trust worthy on their contract and or word to their products 👎🙄🥱😱...
