One sentence: “AVOID Keyes Pool”. Worst company I've ever dealt with!

When Keyes Pool closed my pool last year, one of the guys did NOT want to do it due to the rain. He left and sat in the car. The young guy who closed it by himself did not seem to know how to do it. At that time, I only noticed the safety cover was not installed properly. I’ve made several phone calls and tried to explain the situation, but Keyes Pool did not call me back even during their slow season (Winter season).

On April 29 2022, I opened the pool and noticed significant amount of bubbles inside the pump and out of the jets. I tried again multiple times to get a hold of them and explained the situation but with no luck. The customer service lady took my messages and said they will contact me back but never heard back from them. I waited several weeks and tried again and nothing. I called Romans Pool out of Howell and when they pressure tested the lines, they found out two leaks under the concrete, one leak from the skimmer line and the other from the drain line. Every time I've ever been into Keyes in Clio, I'm treated like I don't belong. Twice when I've gone in to ask about products, it appears they assume that because I'm in my work clothes I bought my pool from Walmart. Their staff has chosen to rudely let me know that they don't sell products for Walmart pools before I have a chance to even ask anything. Personally, I don't have anything against Walmart pools, that's not the issue. As long as they hold water and cool down the people who've bought them, I'd say they've done their job. My issue is with rude, snotty staff who treat customers like an annoyance. I've gone into this store a couple of different times ONLY because they're on my way home from work and I can get there before they close. But, I'm done giving them my business. We recently moved to Clio and the house that we purchased came with a pool. We have never owned a pool before and had the original paperwork that told us that Keyes installed the original pool in 1999. We went there for any advice and they still had the file! We take our water there every Sunday morning for testing and they tell us exactly what we need. The family is amazing, they remember our kids and ask about them when they are not with us. If we miss coming in for a week they ask if we are all right and make sure that we have everything we need! Are pump in original sand filter took a dump and they sold us a new one at a super affordable price. We had checked it to other places and their prices were almost half of the exact same items!
