Just had a woman give us the worst attitude. Greeted us with a rude "wait." Not a proper "welcome to Taco Bell, one moment please." Then we were asked after every single item "Yeah, anything else?" Then our last item was a drink, after she did the "yeah, anything else?", we said no ice, with no response and no change on the screen. We confirmed if she had heard us, and we got in response "Yeah, I heard you." In the most condensending tone ever. We pull up to the window and we tell a girl who looked no older than 16 that we needed her name and that we want to cancel the order due to the attitude that was given to us. "That wasn't me, and you can't have my name." Then we asked for the name of the employee who did, then she said "you can't ask for our names." We asked for the manager and she shut the window in our face, talking to an unseen employee and laughing. After five minutes she opens the window. "Do you need something?" We said "Yes, your name and the name of the employee who was rude to us so we can talk to your manager." She repeated that we can't ask for names and told us to move because we were holding up the line, and that the manager was there. We said "you're the one holding up the line because we're waiting for you to get your manager." Then, the unseen employee comes up and says "Hi, I'm the manager, if you don't want your food, please move because you're holding up the line." We asked for names again and she said we couldn't have any names and claimed that nobody was rude to us. After this repeated back and forth, she slammed the window and walked away flipping us off.
Literally the worst Taco Bell in the whole area. Completely unprofessional. Reeks of weed in the kitchen whenever they open the drive up window at night. Everyone there acts stupid and treats customers unprofessionally. NEVER going to this location again. I wouldn't be surprised if they spit in the food. Would rate 0 starts or negative...
Read moreThis Taco Bell location used to be on point before they renovated a few months ago. Since then I’ve been there twice. They were my top two worst Taco Bell experiences. The first time (about a month ago), I sat in the drive through for about 20 minutes, then they told me the drive through was closed. I went inside, ordered, and waited over 30 more minutes for my food. They decided to close the inside and re-open the drive through. Then a few minutes later they re-opened the inside. They couldn’t decide what to do because there was no manager on duty. All the while, the kids working were touching everything with their gloves (i.e., hair, hats, keys, doors, etc) and then going back to making the food without changing their gloves. I brought it up to the employee that seemed like they were in charge. She gave me a blank stare and didn’t understand what the problem was. “They’re wearing gloves”, she said. That’s not how gloves work... Anyway, here I am a month later and I made the mistake of going back. Went through the drive through and the whole order was wrong. Brought it inside and they remade the order. Took the food and while walking back to my car, I noticed that a burrito was missing. Went back, they made me two of the burritos. All of the food was terribly constructed and wrapped (more so than the usual Taco Bell experience). The first burrito tasted old and was falling apart but was fine. I took a bite of the second one and it tasted like industrial cleaner. I will repost if I get legitimately sick from this experience.
I am genuinely concerned about the safety of their food. They ARE going to make people sick. My concern is they may actually kill somebody before anything is done. For the safety of you and your family, avoid this Taco Bell location (Villa Park location on...
Read moreIt's clear that this taco bell location has poor to non-existent management. I spent 40 minutes in the drive through. Had I not have made a mobile order and had already paid online, I would have driven away.
When I arrived around 7 pm, I was second in line for the speaker. I waited 5 minutes to get to the speaker to let them know that I was there to pickup my mobile order. I could barely hear the guy as it sounded like there were a bunch of teenagers at a rave in the background. After he acknowledged that I was there and activated the mobile order I pulled up behind the next car, which left just enough room for the car behind me to get to the speaker....I sat in this position for the next 15 minutes....in a drive through.
After I moved for the first time in 15 minutes it still took another 5 minutes to get to the pickup window....and that's when the next "fun" situation happened. I was handed someone else's order by the guy at the window who took barely half a look at me before he went back to flirting with the other girl working with him. After I got his attention he told me no, of course that's not your order, and took it back. After about 2 minutes he gave me another order...which also wasn't mine and once again I had to get his attention. After another 3 minutes I finally got my order and it looked like everything was there. At that point I left....when I got home I noticed that part of my order was missing ... And replaced by something completely different which is why I didn't notice at the drive through.
If I had this experience I can imagine most of the people in the line had similar issues. Do NOT go here until there is some...
