I’ve been going to Starbucks regularly since I got my license about 8 years ago and I can honestly say this is the best Starbucks around. Every single morning I go there before work and even on my days off. The AMAZING baristas and managers have started to remember me by name, my face and my order and it really feels good to actually know that they care enough to remember that kind of detail. I have severe social anxiety and this is the only place I’m comfortable going inside of instead of waiting in the drive thru. Even if I’ve had an issue with my order(very very very rare, maybe once or twice it’s happened), im never made to feel unwelcome or like I’m a nuisance to them. they truly are happy to remake it for me to make sure that I’m satisfied with what I bought and that means a lot because I’ve been to other Starbucks locations were they look at me like I just spit on them when I ask them if there’s anyway they could do a remake. This is one of the best teams in the world even when one of my favorite people left, they still carry on that feeling of community and just overall kindness. They actually make an effort to get to know you and who you are as a person instead of just seeing you as another customer who came through and ordered. They really are the dream team for Starbucks and I highly recommend going out of your way to go to this location. I don’t know if this is the best place to write a review for them, but I hope that corporate sees it and I hope that everybody important sees how wonderful the staff is here. I’ve never left that long of a review for anywhere because I’ve never been so happy with such continuous amazing service from somewhere before. You guys are doing amazing and I’ll see you...
Read moreBarista name: Maggie. Swung by on my way to my shift to order coffee. I ended by getting two drinks. Once I got to the window, I tried waving her over to make a slight modification to my order as I'll be up all night at work. Lo and behold, she came to the window after the drinks were done being made, and I asked her if it was possible to remove the ice from one of my drink as I didn't want it to be watered down halfway through my shift. She told me that I can't drink my coffee like this and that I'll be ruining the drink and that I can't be making bismul requests like this one. She entered a tip for herself prior to giving me the machine. I tapped my phone then she made me feel like she was doing me a service by pouring my drink back into the shaker cup, to then pour it back out into the Starbucks cup without ice. The entire store was empty and I was the only one in the drive-through and I just don't understand why it was such a burden on her to do that. Just thought I'd share my experiences. A little tip, I would drive one block down and just order from the other...
Read moreThey tried to charge me $5.60 for a - Tall water - with dragonfruit - Mai went on to explain how it’s their new policy, & how she must charge me for a TEA even thought I was purchasing a cup of water w/the dragonfruit, so I declined and just chose regular water- mind you I can go one block over on Roosevelt in Oakbrook Terrace and the one off of North Ave, and order my three year old a water with dragonfruit for around 70 cents. - I then get cut off before ordering my actual drink to “you have to order something in order to get a water”, uhh yes I was getting to that, I was still just a little astonished that you tried to charge me almost 6$ for a water with dragonfruit. I’m just hoping a logical human working there will see this and be like, why on earth would we charge someone for something...
