5/5 Stars
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Shaghf Cafe, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! This charming cafe is a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth and a love for creative, expertly crafted desserts and drinks.
Desserts:
The pistachio cheesecake was a masterpiece - creamy, rich, and with just the right amount of pistachio flavor. The crust was perfectly baked, adding a delightful textural element to each bite.
The Shaghf Tart, on the other hand, was a work of art. The combination of flavors and textures was absolute perfection, with a crumbly pastry crust giving way to a velvety-smooth filling.
Drinks:
The pistachio frappe was a refreshing and unique twist on the classic coffee drink. The pistachio flavor was subtle yet distinct, and the ice cream added a creamy texture that was simply divine.
The brownie frappe, however, was the real showstopper. Rich, decadent, and indulgent, this drink was like sipping a liquid brownie. It was pure bliss!
Ambiance:
The cafe itself was cozy and inviting, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The decor was modern and sleek, with comfortable seating and ample natural light.
Service:
The staff at Shaghf Cafe were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. They took the time to explain the menu and make recommendations, and were happy to answer any questions I had.
Overall:
Shaghf Cafe is a true gem, and a must-visit for anyone who loves desserts and drinks. The creative menu, expertly crafted treats, and welcoming atmosphere make it the perfect spot to relax and indulge. I will definitely be back!

Read moreSharghz Cafe is a unique gem that masterfully blends tradition with modernity. The coffee is the undeniable star of the show—rich, flavorful, and deeply connected to its roots. I tried the Habibi Latte and Pistachio Latte, both served cold with less sugar, and they were absolutely delightful. The cafe clearly takes pride in pushing boundaries with new and innovative methods, which adds an exciting twist to the experience. The decor is another strong point, with a thoughtfully curated aesthetic that’s both modern and inviting. Even the cups and packaging stand out, showing great attention to detail.
That said, there are a couple of areas for improvement. The music, for instance, felt like an odd choice. The mix of EDM with Arabic pipes clashed rather than complemented each other. While it’s great to try something different, it would be better to stick with one style to create a more cohesive vibe. Another minor issue was the interaction with staff. The girl at the counter was polite but spoke so softly that it was hard to hear her, which made ordering a bit awkward. A little more energy and clarity would go a long way in enhancing the customer experience.
Despite these small drawbacks, this cafe has enormous potential. I’m giving it 4 stars for now, but it’s easily a 5-star spot with a few adjustments. The coffee and innovative spirit alone make it worth revisiting, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Sharghz Cafe is truly something special, and its daring approach to new ideas makes it a standout in...
Read moreGrossly overrated. My friend and I got the pistachio and lotus lattes and we couldn’t tell the difference between them. Both tasted just like a regular latte. We also got the pistachio cheesecake which as a cheesecake was decent but lacked pistachio flavor. They also have a 3% credit card charge which seems to be the new way places are making money, they don’t show it on the register screen or have a sign about it, it just shows up on the receipt. Sneaky AF.
The one positive thing was the staff, the lady knew the menu really well, helped us understand what we wanted, and was courteous.
Edit/reply - I fully understand that it’s a credit card processing fee. The issue is with the lack of transparency. I didn’t know it was being charged until I paid for the transaction. You should either put up a sign saying credit cards incur an extra fee or show it on the register screen while items are being added to the order, not just sneak it in. And you’re not supposed to “charge” gratuity anyway - it’s a tip for good service/servers at a sit down restaurant, you’re a self serve coffee shop, there is no service. Also, before tapping/swiping the card, there is a tip screen that pops up, so you are getting gratuity from customers that...
