I ordered a book from them through a third-party site. They shipped it to the wrong address (different than what I had given them) and it got returned to sender. Their rep contacted me and I gave them the correct address. I never got it and reached out after a few weeks. They told me there was an internal error, they had refunded the book, listed it again, and I could order it again. But they hadn't refunded me, and the book was relisted at a higher price. I let them know and asked they reship instead. This morning I woke up and they've ignored my request just refunded the price to my account. Great store with good prices! I have been a customer for years and found many great reads, from horror to fantasy to historical reference. Lately I go mainly for their record section (which is technically a different store so you cannot use credit there). They definitely have the best record selection in the area with a lot of classic rock, funk, ambient, whatever you like. I come for their progressive/psychedelic stuff, which they always have a lot of. Last time I was there, for example, they had everything from Yes to ELP to Genesis! One problem they have which is cimminent to small record stores is really overpricing the popular Classic Rock albums by at least 5...

Their credit system is wacky! I sold them 6 books, purchased 10 books with my credit and STILL owed $57! And then I still had a $13 credit!! The 2 gals working could not explain the math to me and then another woman came in to work, took over and got a completely different number. I don’t trust that even the workers understand the new system since it moved from 50% credit to 40% credit. No thank you, I’d rather purchase from somewhere where I know exactly what my total will be before I get up to the counter. Sorry guys, you’ve lost...
