I am a portrait painter as is my daughter. I live on Long Island but about 2 years ago a friend from Westchester told me that he does all of his framing with Scarsdale Art and Frame, and has never been so satisfied with the results. I am very particular when it comes to framing my portraits, as is my daughter. I decided to give Scarsdale Art and Frame a go. I just acquired what is called a “GOLD TONE” photograph that needs light to bring out the image to its fullest. I didn’t know the image itself was on the back side of the glass. There was no photo paper like a typical photograph.
