Overall, it's an okay Korean place. Will describe my personal experience from the last visit. Hospitality - We were guided to the seat without a single word. I am not expecting a face full of smiles but it was quite awkward. Throughout our stay at the restaurant, there was no comfort spared for us, so we rushed to the end. Hygiene - even considering it was saturday, there were some concerns. I attached a photo of a table with sticky remaining/residue. Furthermore, in the men's restroom, there was a string of dust that was hanging near the vent like spider web. Didn't bring my phone to the restroom so no pic is available. Taste & Price - I checked some responses from the restaurant in the google review and they seem to be very proud of what they serve. We quite enjoyed their delicacies, although the beef flank soup was a bit salty and left me a sense of instant flavor. I usually order the same soup whenever I visit a new Korean place for comparison. I can definitely say it is beyond average but hard to agree with their claim. Their braised short ribs are 1.99 thumbs up. One may see the price tags are a bit excessive, but the vicinity is full of expensive places so I believe it is still within reasonable range. In summary, this place is worth a try. No further visits would be necessary for me.

Unfortunately, we had a pretty frustrating experience here. When we arrived, we asked our waiter for a high chair, and instead of responding, he just walked away without saying a word. We asked another employee, and eventually the same waiter brought one over—but in a noticeably aggressive manner. It really set the tone for the rest of the visit. We ordered chicken wings, which actually had a good flavor, but they were undercooked. We also ordered salmon, and it came out completely raw in the center—ice cold inside, just seared on the outside. We had intended it for our 2-year-old, so we were obviously concerned. When we mentioned it, the response was simply, “Oh, you want it well done?” and they took it back to cook more. We would’ve appreciated a little more care or clarity around that. We also tried to order Korean BBQ, but were told we had to order a minimum of two BBQ items to use the grill. That policy wasn’t stated anywhere on the menu, which was frustrating and caught us off guard. Overall, the experience felt rushed and inattentive, and the service left a lot to be desired. It’s disappointing because the flavors had potential, but the lack of communication and care really ruined it for us. We won’t be returning.

I ignored all the bad reviews and decided to give this place a try. The fact that this restaurant is owned by Koreans is a total shame as this is NOT a Korean restaurant. This is a restaurant that serves Korean food, as if it was imitated by someone isn’t Korean. But the fact that it was owned by Koreans - I am definitely extremely disappointed. The other low one star reviews were right - the quality is terrible. Everything on the menu that we had ordered feels like it came from a food court cafeteria. No one in Seoul would be serving beef dumplings like that - no restaurant in Korea would be serving cold poor quality tofu pieces that is breaking and completely flavorless and definitely not - in an ox bone soup-it tasted like bland hot water with 5 littlest pieces of meat with thin white noodles - no matter how much pepper and salt you need to the broth - it was like drinking plain hot water. Only after we had asked about side dishes, that they brought out 2 little kimchi and broccoli almost at the end of our meal. I really cannot think of anything that this restaurant did well. Other Korean restaurants in white plains were way better, not to mention u get way more for your buck.

Food? 2-stars for the ‘burbs but would be a solid 1-star compared to anything in the city.

What was particularly terrible about this experience was the attitude of the wait staff and an older Asian man with glasses, who I presumed was the owner.

I arrived with a party of 7 on a Saturday evening. It wasn’t busy. We didn’t have reservations but we were seated immediately. Order taken and food arrived fairly quickly, but one item was missing. No big deal. We’d just eat and order something later if we still wanted it. We checked with the wait staff to make sure it wasn’t on the tab, and he confirmed it wasn’t.

Midway through the meal, the owner came by and started taking away empty plates. Thought nothing of it, except he was clearing plates with food still on it. We asked if he could just leave those plates with food and take away only the empty ones. He huffed. “Someone take the food so I can take the plate.” Ok, whatever grumpy uncle. I guess we’ll just eat on your command.

Again, thought little of it. Didn’t want to create a scene, particularly as we had kids with us. Some in the party just took the food and he cleared those plates.

Ten minutes passed and he returned, hovering over us seemingly looking for empty plates. This dude was obsessed with clearing plates! No plates right now, my man!

We then decided that, in fact, we wanted the item that hadn’t been brought out and informed the owner. “You can have it as takeout,” was his response.

“We’d like to have it now, not later.”

“We’re very busy. This is a large table and we have it reserved for others.”

Looking around at that point, I couldn’t help but notice that there were a number of empty tables. Additionally there was NO ONE WAITING at the door for a table. It was 8pm, a bit past dinner time in the suburbs so I doubt there was a huge crowd heading in. Their posted hours also indicated they were open until 10pm.

We protested and informed the owner that had we known we’d be rushed out like this for his imaginary customers, we would’ve gone elsewhere. But at the time we were seated, no one said “oh by the way, you’re a large party without a reservation and we have a large party reserved for later, but we’ll seat you if you can finish by 8pm.” I’ve encountered this before and I’ve appreciated that honesty. Let me know there’s a time limit on my dining, and I can then decide if I want to stay before I’ve been seated and start eating.

But again, no one but the owner informed us of this until we asked to order one more item. He had no response to this and just walked away.

We ended up not ordering the item and, as we weren’t done, we stayed a bit to finish the meal. It frankly ruined what otherwise would’ve been a mediocre Korean meal in the suburbs.

No matter. We won’t be returning. The owner can keep all the empty plates and empty tables for his future imaginary customers, waiting for that one large party that had reservations for the evening. Perhaps it was the President of the United States? King Charles, maybe? Not sure. But whoever it was, the owner highly anticipated their arrival to roll out that red carpet.

Good luck Yeomiji!...

My family and I have been coming here for over 3 yrs now since we moved to the neighborhood. We visited today after my kids soccer game nearby and it was the first time since the pandemic. We were excited to see it open like nothing happened. food is somewhat above average considering what others offer on the 32nd street manhattan but this one has at least 50% higher price tag which i understand. Being kind of a guy who doesnt mind spending 200 per person omakase sushi @ manhattan, price was never an issue as this restaurant being pretty much the only Korean restaurant in mid-hudson region that seem to keep it neat and clean. However the constantly sheet faced owner who speaks perfectly fluent korean like I do never knows how to apologize (when he, also a waiter as well as owner, forgot one of the order about 3 visits ago that took him another 30min after we were done with the rest. I would have cancelled the order had he told me in the first place.) or say thank you as a light gesture as i place an order. At first, i thought this must be his first restaurant business he ever had and he just needs time to learn stuff to say whether it is bad day for him or not. Today, I guess i was upset over this and had him come take order after passing our table twice in a row (in korean restaurants, waiter is not assigned, even if they claim they do, i see different waiter/waiteress every time in a single visit). I finally placed order disgruntled (non-verbal gesture) and he started stacking the menu that is about the thickness of text books throwing on top of one another in front of my 8 and 3 year old kids and wife. Although it was enough to disregard the overall atmosphere over the taste in this region to come here but was my last time.

Wish you the best. This restaurant will still be a good place to eat for beginners but its still afine dine in mid-hudson region. If any of you are reading this, keep in mind that number of stars doesnt mean much and its nothing to brag about. Stars can always be manipulated. I tend to read low star review first when i want to know more about a business. remember, no koreans tend to come here but us. that tells something....

We came for the first and last time to this restaurant. The owners or staff , dont really know exactly what they are , but either way where completely disrespectful, rude and completely out of line. We where a party of three, ordered an appetizer and the Korean bbq at the table for two people @$72.00 , plus beverages. As we attempted to let him know our order he stopped my spouse in mid sentence to question him as to why we where only ordering the meal for two as we where three. I proceeded to tell him that it would be enough as only two of us would be eating from there only. He then gave us a very nasty look and restated " That's not enough". I once again interjected and had to restate to him that there where only 2 out of the 3 eating from this plate. That I had ordered the appetizer as my meal. This ENTIRE interaction was so unnecessary, embarrassing ( as there where others in the restaurant)humiliating and keepletly out of line. Finally ,to add unsult to injury I saw that three very small bowls with liquid where placed on the table understanding they where different sauces for us to use with our food. I proceeded to pick them up to get an essence of what they where, as we whete not given any explanations. Suddenly the lady walked over to the table to tell me to put them down , that they where for the meat. I just looked at her in complete disbelief. If I am going to a restaurant to where I am paying for service, I do not need to explain to ANYONE WHY I ORDERED WHAT I ORDERED AND WHO IS GOING TO CONSUME IT!!!!. ITS ABSOURD!!!! I absolutely and positively will never ever step foot in this place let alone recommend..... 000000 Stars in customer service, courtesy and etiquette.... Update : As I'm writing this review as I'm existing the restaurant, the owner comes out after us to stop me and ask me why I did not leave them a tip. UNFREAKING...
