I’ve been on the market for a Rolex Sea dweller 43mm, so I decided to shop local and see the folks at Wilson and sons jewelers in Scarsdale, NY. I went in and spoke with Matt, we discussed many different things; and I found him to be a most interesting and genuine fellow. He told me the watch that I was looking for had a significant delay in availability, and told me that if I was patient, it was possible I would be able to see my watch within the next year. (Yikes!) Fortunately my wait wasn’t that long, and within the course of about 3 months I received an email From Matt asking

  1. if I was still interested in the watch, and 2) that there was NO rush on making any hasty decisions on the purchase. Upon hearing this, I knew right away these were the people I wanted to deal with, because Matt was forthcoming and very informative from beginning to end regarding not only this particular watch, but also on the Rolex brand itself, which frankly I found quite fascinating; and as a fine watch aficionado, certainly eager to learn even more about their products. On the day of purchase, Matt presented me with two different models of the Sea- dweller line. The Deepsea 44, which was a tremendously beautiful watch, but then there was the SD 43, which I found to be far better suited on my wrist the very moment I closed its clasp shut. Done deal! The purpose of showing a new client what their options are is often critical to providing valuable insight to the client so they can get a better grasp on what they prefer in a timepiece of this caliber, and what they don’t. A most Brilliant concept, yet often missed in today’s world. But not here… I find when making a sale of this magnitude, it’s really important to help clients make the decision right the first time, and the folks at Wilson and son’s did exactly that. I believe it’s safe to say I will be doing business with these folks again in the very near future. Many thanks to Matt and his entire staff for taking the time for making this secret “watch nut” a VERY happy camper…

“Welcome back, Mr. Bond. We’ve been...

I've been shopping at Wilson & Son since 1984. I remember Ira Sr. from back in the day. For many years, I spent a great deal of time with Ira Jr. and his wife Lynn - at the store and 'in life.' I miss Ira - such a great guy and so extremely knowledgeable about the industry. I took trips with him, Mike and Matt to the Jewelry District when I was still a teenager, and saw how much care and love he put into the vendors he worked with and the knowledge and expertise he had of the business. I was always impressed with how he did business because for him it wasn't just about the product. It was always about the person first. That tradition still exists today.

He passed that down to his two sons and it was great to get to see them today. I'm not surprised to know that there are at least four if not, five generations of Wilson's involved in this extremely successful organization. Not only has the expertise been passed down but the love of the industry as well as the respect and care they invest in the people they work with. Not to mention how beautiful the store is. Before I spoke with them one of the associates invited me to sit down and have an espresso with biscotti that Lynn Wilson makes herself! I had to take a look over my shoulder to see this amazing collection from a jeweler artist with the last name Coin. He makes some beautiful pieces incorporating pave diamonds, lapis, enamel, all in laid in gold, silver, etc. I made sure to only take a quick look otherwise I could've been in trouble ;)

I was lucky enough to learn the 'Wilson & Son values' when I was only 16 years old from Ira and Lynn. I know that Ira would be extremely proud of how his boys have taken the business to new heights.

If you want to be sure about the quality you're going to get when you invest in something as timeless as jewelry, I wouldn't put my faith in anyone else other than Wilson &...

I want to share my experience at Wilson & Son Jewelers so more people can enjoy what I did. Last week was my first visit, and it was one of the most grateful and thankful experiences in my life. I want to tell the story of my visit. First, when I entered the shop, a nice, suited gentleman, a member of the family, welcomed me like a special guest. Then, every employee at the shop also greeted me warmly. I felt very special and comfortable. Second, I talked to one of the sales reps, Stephanie, who is also a family member of the shop. Since I am an immigrant from Korea, my English is not so great, which sometimes causes misunderstandings and makes me nervous when I try to get something or explain. From the beginning to the end of our conversation, I saw her effort to listen to me carefully and politely. It might be one of her great skills, and I felt so grateful that she was my sales representative. I had a desperate reason to get a certain model of Rolex, and as everyone knows, it is very hard to get. It's not about money but the supply shortage situation. After she listened to me, I could tell she understood me and felt sympathy for my story. She did everything she could to make it happen, and it actually happened. She was able to find the specific model I requested and surprised me. She could’ve made more money from my desperation since I told her that I will purchase a different Rolex model that she first said was available and $6k higher price, but she didn’t. She tried so hard to get the right model of Rolex that I requested. I believe 1000% that Stephanie and her team will treat every customer the same way they treated me last week. I hope all of you visit their shop and enjoy not only their collection but also the shopping experience. Thank you again, Stephanie, and I promise I will revisit your shop with a picture of my father wearing the Rolex you...

To Wilson & Son Jewelers: I recently had the privilege of purchasing a 41mm Rolex Submariner Date from Wilson & Son Jewelers in Scarsdale, and I can say without hesitation that the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From my very first phone call with Ashley, to meeting her and Stephanie in person, and eventually speaking with Michael, the owner—every interaction was marked by warmth, professionalism, and genuine compassion. I shared with them a deeply personal story: years ago, I owned a Submariner Date, but was forced to part with it after sustaining a serious injury in the line of duty as a police officer. The injury brought with it financial hardship, and parting with that watch felt like losing a piece of myself. So when I walked through your doors, this wasn’t simply about acquiring a luxury timepiece—it was about reclaiming something that had long symbolized strength, resilience, and a life I had fought hard to rebuild. You could have presented me with a dozen incredible watches, and none would have mattered. For me, it was always about the Submariner Date. When I finally held that watch again, I became deeply emotional. It’s hard to put into words what that moment meant to me, but Ashley, Stephanie, and Michael treated it with the care, understanding, and respect it deserved. You didn’t just sell me a watch—you helped me bring closure to a difficult chapter and open the door to a new one. To the owner Michael- Thank you for making this moment unforgettable. It will stay with me forever. With sincere gratitude, Robert Faust

When I moved back to NY in January 2023, one of my first stops after settling in was to visit Wilson’s in Scarsdale. During my first few visits, I focused on looking at watches for myself with Allison. Each time I would visit, she would greet me with a warm smile and never rushed me. She was enthusiastic to pull out multiple watches and really helped me narrow my search. Eventually, in mid-2023, we put my name down for the brand new GMT GRNR. As I patiently waited for the watch, I continued to visit Wilson’s, but this time looking for a wedding day gift for my fiancée at the time, now my wife. Again, Allison took her time to work with me and show me a plethora of options. However, after not falling in love with anything, I asked her if it would be possible to do a custom piece to recreate the first piece of jewelry I had given to my wife 13 years prior. The Wilson team took pride and ownership in getting the necklace right. They kept me updated throughout the process and always made me feel comfortable. And, as you can probably tell from the pictures, they absolutely nailed it. Eventually, about two weeks before the wedding, I got a wonderful call from Allison that my watch had come in. It was a special moment for my wife and I, and we so appreciate the Wilson Family for all of their help in making our wedding so memorable. A special shout out to Matt, Mike, Stephanie and Allison for welcoming Christina and I to the Wilson Family. It’s always a pleasure to see and chat with you all. Here’s to many more!
