I am retired public school educator from Iowa and Illinois. In between my teaching careers I worked 7 years traveling as a field sales rep.(having a 2 million dollar+ annual sales for Hershey Chocolate Co) that encompassed all of eastern Iowa in the late 1970s-mid 80s. Most of my sales calls were at the retail level (drug/combo stores and grocery accounts). I have lived in Kenosha since 1986 and reflecting upon my Hershey experience, the Festival Foods Organization has really got their act together! When a customer comes into ANY of their branch stores, they will be greeted warmly by any/all sales staff. (This psychological approach in making the customer feel welcomed and appreciated) was one of the "hallmarks" of the Hy-Vee Food Store Chain (Chariton, Iowa). I have noted that other grocery stores in our area do not seem to demonstrate that kind of warmth and customer appreciation on any regular basis. In fact in those stores I see a lot of indifferent faces. Second, this store is well organized and well lighted for the customer. Displays are not sloppy and cramping the aisles. The store and its aisles clean, fresh, bright and are wide for customer ease and comfort. The deli's are extraordinary in their variety and freshness, again with their employees behind the glass viewing display windows always eager to be of help and with a smile on their faces! Their meat, poultry, and fish specials are great and continuous! (Check out their Prime Rib marinated weekend specials and their hot roast turkey and ham specials on the weekends!) And the coupon ads can be turned in by the customer at checkout without having to clip them out. The cashier takes care of all of the savings in one swipe! There are so many excellent reasons to make a trip to any Festival Foods Store in your area and discover for yourselves, just what great stores these are! If you haven't as yet experienced a shopping visit to any Festival Foods Store as yet, I think you will be in for happy, pleasurable shopping experience. Thank you Mike and all the Kenosha Festival Foods Team for great happy + willing employees, great varieties of products, great buys! ...

Almost purchased a drink that expired in 2023, im followed and watched every time I come in this store to the point I stopped coming in addition to the old food they have, today I decided to stop for convince only to run into the same issue as I always do here. I told thw manager, he didn't even inquire on what drink, where nor did he attempt to change it.
CHECK YOUR DATES! if you're going to shop at the Festival in Somers, make sure you check your dates on the food items, I go here regularly (for convenience, no on wants to be stressed at Walmart, or Meijer, and it's closer to me than pick n save) everytime I go, and I do mean EVERY TIME, I've picked up expired food and had to put it back, or I've been inconvenienced to have to go back to the store to make an exchange, or I just chuck it up as a loss because I don't feel like going back out with all my kids, It's gotten to the point I'm thinking they're doing it deliberately. When I say expired I don't mean by just a day I'm talking days, and alot of the times weeks and months past expiration. This has been an issue before the pandemic, so short staff or blaming the pandemic is null and void. I've called the store, ive spoken to management they're all very nice but they don't seem to care, if I call and tell you about an item that's expired by the months and go back the next day and it's still a large amount on the shelf, that means...
