I really wanted to like this place and was so excited to try the peach cobbler. We arrived around 7pm and circled around the place. We saw that inside was pretty packed so we opted for the drive thru. I didn’t read reviews ahead of time (didn’t want to be swayed) but I ended up doing so when we were waiting in the drive thru line and many reviews talked about how slow the service is. There were only TWO cars in front of me at this point so I didn’t think it would take too long. I know this place has only been open for about a month so I was expecting to have to wait a bit, but NOT for an hour. We were in the drive thru for ONE HOUR without even having ordered either. And we had a car behind us with an elderly woman and she had no shame in constantly honking her horn as if that would get the line to move faster. It got to the point where my husband had to get out of our car and ask her why she was constantly honking to which she responded, “They going too slow!” Umm, yes ok ma’am but honking isn’t going to make it move faster. We finally order after waiting 1 hour - we should’ve just left but had already waited for so long so we were committed. It took a while to get someone over the speaker but I was finally asked what we wanted and I said a peach cobbler and honey apple cobbler. No surprise. They were out of both. Disappointing is an understatement. The establishment is called The Peach Cobbler Factory and you run out of peach….?! So we ordered the strawberry and asked for the ice cream on top. Took an additional 15 mins to get our order. Ice cream was NOT on top and on the side. I scooped the ice cream onto the cobbler (with no crumble btw) and it looked like the photo below. I would rate the taste a 2.5-3/5 stars. It was way too sweet and I didn’t even finish it. Also not worth the $8. Do not recommend unless you like mediocre cobbler and waiting for an hour. As a side note, I read on the website that there are plans to open a location in milwaukee and by the way the service is at this location, I do not think it will go well. All in all, not worth the hype,...
Read moreI went in with an open mind. I disregarded all of the reviews as I wanted to give them a try and form my own opinions (I recommend anyone reading this to do the same). Because they are new, and most places are popular when they first open; I expected they'd be busy and there would be a wait. I patiently waited and talked with a couple of other guests who were eating their dessert and who had been there before. They suggested that the banana pudding wasn't the best and offered their opinions on the different cobblers they'd tried. I told them I'd ordered the cinnamon roll with the added peach cobbler... they hadn't had it but thought it may be good. I ate one bite and simply couldn't do any more... I was disappointed. The cinnamon roll itself was more like bread than the ooey gooey dough consistency I'm accustomed to and prefer. The cobbler tasted like canned pie filling with some crust-like substance added inside. Upon tasting it, I couldn't understand what had taken so long. At best, the cinnamon roll was pulled from a bag, and the filling scooped from a pre-made container of pie filling. I wanted it to be great, I wanted to support, and I wanted to have good things to say. I'm sorry, I can't lie... it simply wasn't good and definitely not worth the costs or time it took to put together. I think the staff has been overwhelmed. They made no connection. They seemed like zombies and were very transactional. The cashier had to use a calculator to figure out change for those paying with cash. My friend ordered a full peach cobbler serving and said the next day... "I could have gotten a whole pie from Costco, and it would have been better. " I gave it three stars because I want to see them do well, not because it...
Read moreI went into the store for a pick up order and a tall thin blonde with severe acne who says she is the manager did not acknowledge me when I walked in. There was only 1 couple there together she took the man's order and walked straight to the back as if she did not see me standing there. I waited 3-5 minutes for her to come out and asked her can I please have the order I was there to pick up. She said sure and turned frowned up her face and jerked her neck as if I offended her. When she came out she had me confirm the order and told me to have a good night. I replied my nights are always great since she said it in a sarcastic tone. I asked when the owners would be present she told me she is always here. I then asked when will she be in again she said well I'm the manager and I don't know when she is next in. I told her she needs to work on her customer service skills because they suck. I proceeded to walk out as she came to the end of the counter in a combative stance with her hands folded together as if she wanted to engage in a physical altercation. I politely warned her that I was not one she wants to engage with and the customer waiting wanted to add a cheese cake or pudding to their order and she should attend to them and not keep the customer's waiting. This type of aggression from an employee makes this business look extremely bad. The employee was unattentive, had a horrible attitude, combative, argumentative, entitled, and very disrespectful. I would not recommend anyone to spend a penny here when employees behave in such an unprofessional and barbaric way, it makes the owners and the...
