I am not a big jewelry person, so other than my wedding set, don't own much "good" jewelry. My husband purchased a relatively inexpensive (~$100) silver necklace chain for me for Christmas quite a few years ago to replace one that broke. It was shorter than I wanted, so I stopped in to the store to see if they would exchange it. They graciously did (and have also repaired it twice).
When I had two other rings stolen, I wanted to replace at least one and stopped in again. Didn't see anything that I liked, but the sales woman helped me design one. I love that it is very different that anything I've seen before. I was also able to trade in some old gold/silver jewelry which paid for 1/3 of the cost of the new ring.
My wedding band has a brushed surface that needs to be "re-done" every 5-10 years. Since the jeweler we bought it from is in another city, about 20 years ago a friend who worked for a jeweler offered to take it - big mistake. There were big gouges instead of a soft brushed look. I was sick. So after wearing that way for several years, I stopped in at EW and asked if they could fix it. They estimated the cost to be about $40. When I picked up the ring, I was so happy, I almost cried. It was beautiful - just like new! Then, when I went to pay, the owner said "no charge." I would have been happy to pay triple the estimate - the transformation was incredible.
Yesterday, I took some jewelry I inherited from a special Aunt - again, nothing incredibly valuable (no diamonds). Once again, the sales woman spent a considerable amount of time helping me figure out a "re-design" that would work form me. Was given ideas, but no pressure. I felt comfortable walking out of the store to think about what I wanted to do - but, will definitely be back when I decide.
It is truly a pleasure doing business w/ them. Even though (by jeweler's standards) my purchases have been modest, I have been treated as a valued customer - w/ patience and respect. And they always remember me even though I've only been in there a handful of times in the past 15 years. I highly recommend Edward...
Read moreCalled yesterday and asked if they had watch batteries. The young lady said yes so we headed down. We walked in and there are 5 people behind the counter. Not a one said hello or even acknowledged me or my 12 year old son. We get up to the counter and tell them we called about the watch battery. They told me that it's $20 which I already knew bc we had just called. The woman takes the watch and pops the back off. She comes back a short time later saying she doesnt have the battery and I would need to come back the next day. We wanted to take the watch with us bc it belonged to my father in law and was special to my son. I asked if they could call us when the batteries arrived and she said "well they have until 330 to get here". I said that was fine but could she take down my number and call me when they arrived. Very reluctantly she took my number. Not quite sure why I was getting this resistance when I made the trip bc they said they had the battery there. I dont know why my son and I werent greeted when we walked in or even as we walked up to the counter. Maybe bc I was dressed in comfy clothes and didnt look nice enough for them. Of note, when I said we would be taking the watch with us, the lady struggled to get the backing on and had to have another person come do it. They put it on crooked so today when I took it to another jewerly store, I asked that they put the backing on straight and I was Immediately informed the way it was put on could have damaged the grooves bc it can only be placed on one way. Luckily it was not damaged and we were able to get the battery replaced. God knows if this place had damaged the watch by putting the backing on crooked, I likely would have encountered resistance and received no help. I have no plans of ever going back just based on this...
Read moreOur experience with Edward Warren jewelers was nothing short of amazing from start to finish! My husband was gifting me with an upgraded engagement ring/wedding band set. I had researched everywhere online to find exactly what I wanted but was disappointed at the reviews and issues people were having with some big name jewelers. I decided to reach out to EW jewelers by email and shared with them what I was looking for. They assured me they could assist so my husband and I went to their store and Cory spent so much time with us as I chose the perfect diamond. His patience was so appreciated!! I showed him pictures of various settings I was interested in and he and his team came up with a custom design that I loved. He kept me up to date throughout the process as my custom ring was being made. The final product is stunningâa solitaire round diamond in a platinum setting with tulip shaped prongs. We paired it with a platinum diamond eternity wedding band. Cory was able to keep me in my budget and I have no doubt that the quality of my set and size of diamond I was able to get through Edward Warren far surpasses anything I could have gotten with the big name retailers. Iâve had this new set since May and am still in awe every time I look at it. Itâs GORGEOUS! I highly recommend Edward Warren Jewelers âyou will not be disappointed!!! The added bonus is you are supporting a local family-owned business who truly cares about their customers and community they serve. Thank you Edward Warren Jewelers and Cory for all you did to make this such a great experience. Iâll be recommending you to everyone I know in search of the...
