This was a pretty large Kohl's and it still seemed like they had a smaller selection of each item individually for example they seen to only have 1 small, 1 medium, and 1 large of each shirt and honestly most of them were either small items or XL. ....most of the stuff they had on the mannequins for display ..they didn't have on the shelves...I understand it's probably a new item and people are probably buying it like crazy....but I tried to find at least 8 different items that the mannequins were wearing and they were no where to be found. The employees were nice enough and didn't seem to bothersome compared to the other locations ...most other locations have snooty people working there but I noticed every employee that did greet me...had a smile and asked if they "could help me find anything" and would even follow up with "okay just let me know if I can help you"....where as to most other locations they always look at you over their glasses type of look and are like "yew need help finding something" making me feel like I've spent to much time in one spot or something. Lol. They didn't even seem to rush anybody out of the store at closing time..they just casually checked me out .... They made 2 announcements over head about closing soon and then another they they were closed. I can't stand going to a store and hearing every 10 mins literally from 10:30pm to midnight, that they close soon. Anyways. They had a huge selections of shoes as well and i actually happened to find the right size and they had multiple sizes where as to the clothes they really didn't...I think it was a really nice location and I would...

I was ecstatic when I discovered there would be a sephora closer to me than a trip to Easton. I enjoy shopping in person, but hate being harrassed by employees. The first girl was cool. The older lady let me know if I needed help to just ask. Okay. The other person asked me if I needed help. I said no. They then wanted to talk about a new brand. I wasn't interested. Not even 30 seconds..no-no 10 seconds! The older woman ask me if I am O K. . . I don't remember what I said..but I'm pretty sure.. I said I was fine.**just like I had said before to the other two employees. I had two things in my hand and went to look at this popular lotion and mist. This lady starts going on about the brand and her testimony.đ I lost all my patience at this point. I pull my gift card out and said I'm ready to go. At the counter she looks at my gift card and tells me I can't use it because it's not the Khol's +Sephora gift card. I wasn't mad. I just really wanted to leave. She asked me if I wanted to take a picture of the two items I had picked up. (I only had enough patience to pick up 2 items). I had my headphones in (with wires) and know my way around this tiny Sephora. *the older lady also took note of this and mentioned it to me. I was so irritated it really ruined the mood for the day. I went to Easton instead. I don't write reviews because I don't really care to. This happened maybe a week or two ago. But since I'm still thinking about it, why not.
TLDR: Harassed (for lack of a better term) by employees and you can't use a "freestanding Sephora" gift card at...
Read moreI am writing as both a Kohlâs associate (EFC6) and a customer regarding a concerning experience I had at the Pickerington location. While visiting as a customer, I used one of the fitting rooms in the womenâs department. An associate confronted me in a way that suggested I was doing something inappropriate and even implied I was a threat to children. This was deeply upsetting and not in line with Kohlâs values of respect and inclusivity.
What concerns me most is not just the misunderstanding, but how it was handled. Instead of politely redirecting me if she believed I was in the wrong area, the associate chose to badmouth me within earshot of other customers, effectively embarrassing me in public. When I attempted to de-escalate and make amends afterward, she continued to treat me poorly rather than resolving the situation professionally.
As a Kohlâs associate, I know that our fitting rooms are not officially gender-restricted â they are department-based and âfamily friendly.â If Kohlâs intends to restrict them otherwise, clear signage should be provided. In the absence of that, harassing or humiliating a customer for using a fitting room is not only unprofessional but also a direct violation of our standards for customer service and workplace respect.
I am sharing this because I believe strongly in Kohlâs values, and I donât want to see other customers or associates treated in this way. I respectfully ask that this matter be reviewed and that the associate involved be reminded of proper conduct when...
