Vitality Bowls — Restaurant in Violet Township

The bowls are really tasty, that is the ONLY good thing I have to say about this place.. They are extremely over priced. I have been here plenty of times because I do like the acai bowls so I bite the bullet on the outrageous prices and treat myself sometimes.... I will no longer be a customer and I will no longer reccommend this place to any of my gym friends. I have had 99.9% of bad experiences. The service is just God awful.. I have had issues with them being unknowledgable of the menu, I ordered a couple of weeks ago over the phone litterally 2 minutes before I pulled into the parking lot - with a buy one get one free (the lady said it would be ready in 20 minutes when I was pulling into the parking lot) and even though I have spent tons of money with this place when I went in to pay, they told me I couldn't get the deal with what I ordered because it was only "certain" bowls that I could get with the deal, and the lady that was helping me gave me an attitude and did not want to let me change my order because it was already "done" and she already heard my name being called in the kitchen for finished order etc... which I know it wasn't because I just called it in 4 minutes prior and they told me it was a 20 minute pick up time, she lied and said that it was already done and made a huge deal about me wanting to change my order so I could get the BOGO even though it wasn't in process yet which was also clearly indicated to me by all the other people inside already waiting for their orders. I have also had issues with ridiculous wait times, and lastly I just called at 7:44 to pick up an order and was told I could not place a pick up order because they were no longer accepting any orders because they close at 8pm. I wouldn't have called if I couldn't be there before 8pm.... what is the difference between me called ahead at 7:44 for it to be ready when I get there or me coming in at 7:55 to order??? I was looking for a clean food spot to eat near me and I was excited to try this place. The inside has a modern look and feel. They have different eating sections. You can either sit down in the comfy seats or sit out in bar seats. The tables had charging ports. We ordered our food, and they do take different forms of payment. I ordered the Power Panini because I wanted something hot and the ingredients in this sandwich were pretty interesting. My friend ordered something that had chimi in it. The staff was very sweet, professional and friendly. But I was kind of disappointed with the wait of the food and then the taste. We waited for a good 20 to 30 minutes for our meal. I'm pretty sure they had some takeout orders which contributed to the weight. When our order arrived, it was brought to our table in a bag. I found this to be interesting, especially because we we're dining in. So we take out our hot meals and are ready to eat it but after a few bites, we grew disappointed. My panini was very heavy flavored with mustard, some pesto at times and bread. I did order mine with chicken but even that was pretty light in the sandwich. My friend shared that she did not like her meal either which was a chimichurri steak wrap. We ate it because we were there toeet up, but the food didn't make the experience as I hoped. THIS IS CLEARLY A FRANCHISE GROWING TOO QUICKLY FOR PROPER TRAINING. I don’t want to make this review, But I have to. I eat mostly fruit so there are very little restaurants in the area I can grab a meal at. I was excited when this place popped up. The first time I came to vitality bowls pickerington the service was awful, I waited for 30 minutes for a regular smoothie and a pressed juice. My second visit was terrible, not only did I wait over 20 minutes for my smoothie and salad, but they made me a different salad than I ordered. I ended up waiting another 20 minutes for the salad I originally ordered and taking it home. Today was my third visit, I ordered and waited approximately 20 minutes for my smoothie bowl. When I got the bowl it wasn’t blended at all. It looked more like a salad than a smoothie. It had full leaves and tough kale stems in the middle, inch size pieces of frozen banana and strawberry. Along with confetti size green kale chunks throughout. It was a mess, I had to leave and head to work so I didn’t even get my lunch.
