I was very displeased with the service i recived at Gamestop yesterday. I walked in, expecting to buy a Yokai Watch Jibanyan stuffed toy, when i was humiliated by the worker in the store. First, there was no price on the plush. I checked all other Yokai watch plushes in the store, to find out none of them had a price on them. I saw there was a line, but i wasn't going to wait for 20 minutes on a plush i didn't even know the price on. I stood about 10 feet away from the cash register, waiting for the first person to be done paying so i could ask a question on the item. Mind you, there's no one on the floor except the girl working the register. I couldn't ask another employee about the price because there was no one else i could see. So, i was standing there, ready to ask a question and she rudely told me "There's a line here, so you need to get in the back of the line." I couldn't fathom how she talked to me. I was shocked. I wanted to ask a question about an item. Why would i wait 20 minutes to ask about an item i didn't even know if i was going to buy? I glared at her, returned the plush to the shelf, and walked out 5 minutes later. Let me just tell you that i was very loyal to your company and bought almost all of my games and consoles from you. I will make sure my boyfriend and myself will never visit your store or spend money there ever again. I am so close to calling and complaining about your workers and poor distribution of your products. I...
Read moreLiterally giving one star because I you have to in order to leave a review. Several weeks ago the store was allowing people to put their name on a list for the release of the new Mini NES Console. I placed my name on it, with I believe only one other before mine. The store called me yesterday to let me know they in fact had my system and that it would be at the register. The store opens at 10am, I arrived at 10:10. Stood in line behind 5 other customers only to get to the register to be told that they were SOLD OUT. I told the lady, who was the same person that placed my name on the list, and I believe the same person that called to confirm they had it, that I was called and told it was set aside. She said "I'm sorry but we released the systems. We weren't supposed to "preorder" them." So I said well maybe then you should have called those of us expecting them so we could at least have showed up and stood in line for a chance at one. Her response was "I didn't have time". I refuse to believe that between yesterday and when the workers "found out", there was not time to notify the handful of people they were going to be SOL. Gamestop should have honored their mistake instead of screwing their customers. One of the worst experiences of bad customer service ever. GameStop has completely lost my business forever. We will be utilizing locally owned small businesses for our used game needs and just purchase new games from...
Read moreThe worst Gamestop I've been to in the area. I went in to trade in some games and my Wii U. The associate was already put off by the fact I had some things to trade in. He was snobby and rude. While he was looking at my trade ins I found a shirt. I decided to buy the shirt since it was on clearance. I finished my trade in transaction and told the guy I wanted to purchase the shirt as well. He questioned why I could have done both at the same time. Like it was my fault for wanting to buy something but not telling him was a problem that there now had to be a second transaction made. Not only did I not feel like a good customer since I have been going to Gamestops for so long, but I was also made to feel like I was inconvenient for the company at the time. With all of the bad experiences I've been having with Gamestop staff in the area I might just stick with trade in stores or...
