I am uncertain as to the rationale behind the singular focus on a particular group of young adults within this establishment.
Frequenting this establishment with my daughter, I consistently encounter an environment characterized by pop music containing explicit language, alongside sizable congregations of patrons—often four to five individuals—who exhibit familiarity with the staff, resulting in boisterous behavior to the extent that external surroundings become inaudible. This lively atmosphere seems to be a defining feature of this venue.
I am perplexed by the apparent targeting of a small cohort of gamers who maintain a low profile, refraining from causing any disruptions unless during quieter moments when their mere presence draws attention. Typically occupying a secluded corner, these individuals engage in gaming activities while also fostering interaction with fellow customers, thereby contributing positively to the ambiance of the establishment.
Observably, the introduction of this group has attracted a notable influx of patrons utilizing laptops. However, their sudden absence raises questions. By people who have nothing better to do with their time? They clearly haven't caused issues in that said year till a single person mentions an issue but there was not a single problem till now?
It is my contention that passing judgment based on olfactory perceptions or the volume of one's discourse is unwarranted, particularly within an environment where the normative culture includes music with explicit lyrics and profanity. As a publicly accessible venue without explicit guidelines regarding language usage, occurrences of such nature are inevitable and are not uncommonly witnessed even in the presence of families. Rather than ascribing blame to the establishment's staff, direct communication with the individuals in question to address concerns would be a more constructive approach. It is regrettable that unfounded accusations may have alienated these individuals, potentially deterring their future patronage.
It is disheartening that certain individuals have chosen to express their discontent with the establishment due to the presence of a specific group, particularly when it is commonplace to observe other patrons engaging in similar behavior without repercussion. Conversations involving topics such as sex, profanity, and gaming frequently occur among individuals familiar with the staff, often situated near the registers or pick-up area with laptops. In light of additional reviews echoing similar sentiments, it seems unjust to single out these youths who, in my experience, neither disrupt nor pose any harm to patrons. It is imperative to withhold judgment until one has firsthand knowledge of their circumstances, a consideration seemingly overlooked by those who have raised objections at a business level, thereby unfairly targeting an entity beyond their control—the public.
The establishment in question is undeniably remarkable, fostering an atmosphere that is both enjoyable and uplifting. The presence of profanity or a lively ambiance, rather than being detrimental, has, in fact, contributed to the enjoyment of others. The general public does this on a daily basis. Furthermore, the increased presence of laptop users is indicative of the establishment's appeal. College students or young adults studying and or even gaming with each other. Throughout numerous visits during which the aforementioned gamers were present, they have consistently maintained a low profile, with efforts made to minimize noise, including instances where one member hushed others. Instead of singling them out, it would be more advantageous to extend a welcoming attitude and embrace diversity.
Alternatively, if there are concerns regarding the operation of the business, implementing clearly defined rules and displaying them prominently would provide clarity and guidance. It is inequitable to impose stringent regulations selectively on certain groups while others are exempt, especially when no such rules have been...
Read moreI really like that they have a lot of options, more so than the other milk tea spots around here. I'm a fan of the Strawberry Marble Green Tea. But I'll stick to ordering in-person because packaging is NOT secure for delivery orders.
I got the wrong drink AND half of it arrived spilled in the plastic bags.
Whoever was working 5/17 at around 7:30PM thought it was a smart idea to put a cup with an open strawhole in a plastic bag that was to large to be secure. There was some attempt to secure the drink with a smaller bag wrapped around it, but it ultimately didn't do much since the opening where it was tied up still made for a gap that the drink spilled through.
I'd highly suggest the store replace lids for certain drinks that are delivery orders, as well as get plastic bags that are more suitable for carrying drinks (like smaller but long cup bags in Molly Ramen or cardboard Joyu, which also has large straw openings but their carriers ensure the drink stays upright) if they're choosing to do that instead of some sort of cup holders. While they can't control the level of care from the deliveryperson, they can at least ensure their drinks are FULLY secured before...
Read moreSuper excited Gong Cha has come to VABeach!! This is a very popular brand in Taiwan - to me that means it's good quality and authentic! Got the milk tea with boba, grass jelly, and aiyu jelly, a passion fruit green tea with grass jelly, and a peach smoothie. The milk tea was delicious, very clean black tea flavor. I was surprised even at full sweetness it wasn't super sweet. The grass jelly has a good herbal flavor, the aiyu kind of got lost in the mix, and the boba has a good chew and is slightly sweet. The passion fruit green tea tastes exactly as I remember it. I was surprised the grass jelly floated, next time I'll get basil seeds. The peach smoothie also has a different flavor from American peach, idk why it reminds me of Asian candies. The creative menu has some really great items on it and the egg waffles look really good too. The shop is cute and comfortable and they have WiFi and board/card games on hand. My only complaint is the point card system is specific to your credit card, so even if I ask them to add the purchase points to my account and show my qr code, if my bf pays the points don't get added. It's a bit...
