I have been shopping at this Kroger for 5 years now and it is almost always a disappointment. They are constantly low staffed and the staff they have are most rude or without care. The product in the store is no better. Half the time they are out of product. Not out of product in the store, just not stocked on the shelves. You can literally look in the coolers and you see everything you need just sitting in boxes but out of reach. If you ask someone good luck. You almost always get a shoulder shrug or a “idunno.” When you finally get to the checkout you have few choices. You can either wait in an obscenely long line for the 1 cashier they have open on a Sunday afternoon lol, or you can stand in an obscenely long line for the 3 self checkout registers they have open. (They have 11 of them but they usually only have 3 open.)
I have tried to bypass the poor in store experience with utilizing the order and pickup feature. Well that is now an issue too. I placed an order for pickup between 4 and 5 today. I received an update saying my order was ready at 4:00. Great. I get there, let them know my parking spot number on the app and then sit for 25 minutes. I call the store and the gentleman in the pickup area says, “yah, I dunno when your order is gonna be ready we’re missing a whole bunch of things.” I ask for maybe an eta because I understand things happen. “Yeah, no. I don’t really know when.” I tell him to cancel my order.
The customer service call center is no help either. I called them explain everything and he gives me a $5 store credit. What a joke and such a poorly run business. They will not be receiving anymore of my money. Harris teeter is directly across the street, this will be my new grocery home. I suggest anyone reading this do the same and save...
Read moreI asked customer service if I can get 32 bottles of 2 ltr diet coke. Stock boy went to talk to manager came back 10 minutes later and says I looked in the back and I only have 6. I said what a out on the shelf. He said there is none everybody must be buying them cause of the sale but I can put a big order in with the vendor but the price is not garanntied. Told him I needed them tomorrow for a blind disabled friend. I rode around in the scooter and there was more in 2 places. So I loaded the scooter cart with 32. The manager came and said mam you were told the limit was 6 and I said no I was not, I was told you only had 6. I argued with the manager and told him get the stock boy Tristin. Tristin tried to lie and I told him exactly what he said to me. Manager says I apoligize for the misunderstanding I will give u 12. At that point I felt so humiliated with the manager I told him u can keep them all. In the sale paper it said 88 cents if u buy 4, didn't say there was a limit. Manager shows me tiny print on the bottom of the last page , we reserve the right to limit items. I told the Manager it should be written under the sale item if there's a limit. I spend at the least $700.00 a month there. They lost...
Read moreWhen did grocery store turn into almost all self check out ?? I started to check out and noticed there was only one person on a register. Everything else was only the self conveyor belt and self checkout lanes. There were about 15 people waiting in line at the self checkout areas because all of the machines kept needing service help while there was only ONE person there to help, no one else Was able to come and assist us. My shopping experience took more time checking out than it did grabbing my items. It is not the workers’s fault but management needs to constantly be checking to see how the lines of only one person is allowed a key card. Also, at the self conveyor belt if you scan too many items and leave them on the belt it makes you stop and go bag your stuff and then go back to start re-scanning this completely slows down the process and am unsure of why that is a function this needs...
