Britney long the inept manager.
Get ready to read because this will be a long review. This will detail my experience on 4/13 2018 at the Burlington Coat Factory in Visalia California at approximately 2:15 p.m. Pacific day time I shop for about an hour after making it to the register I was meant by a rude associate the route associate did not ask how my day was going did not greet me at all just began to ring up the items heathen pick one of the items that I purchased and asked or stated this is 2499 I said you can put it aside it's too expensive for me she later went on to bring up the other items as she came across a few clearance items that had a red tag on them she implied and stated that these red tag items were placed the labels were placed by someone else it didn't dawn on me at the moment as to what she was implying but I done asked her well what are you implying are you asking if we put those red tags on the on the items she said it all I cannot ask answer that question for you I said the well what are you trying to say I said okay then forget it just put those item on the side and proceed and bring it up the other items as she tallied up the items to about $199 plus taxes I was about to handle my credit card to finish off the purchase I don't pause for a second and ask for the store manager the store manager was standing besides her about a foot away I then asked may I speak to your store manager she points ruling towards the manager the manager then says I'm the manager I don't and then she states I don't like how you are treating my employee I said so the customer is treating your employee weirdly what have I said what if I would have I stated you are accusing me of a misdemeanor and breaking the law and you're going to stand here and ruling holler at me she then says I will ask for you to leave you are being indecent I said who gives you the authority to talk to your customer that way she says you can call corporate if you like Isis okay well I will then I that is at the moment I walked away from the register and left my purchase with the associate and then walked out of the store then I came back and asked for her name she rudely spells it out she says it's Britney long long you have a good day I said okay well thank you for the name I will then proceed to call your corporate Department this is a future manager that will look for a new job somewhere in the near future I hope an employee reads this and then decides not to offer her the position in retail because of her...
Read moreDON'T GO TO THIS VISALIA OR TULARE STORE!! There is a group of 6+ bullies who hang out in the blanket and handbag aisle and the employees help them by getting items from the stockroom for them. You can't even browse the areas in peace when the group is there, they cuss and start harassing customers. One even said she had a gun in her car to scare people from the area. Burlington managers and employees do nothing about this group even though they make customers uncomfortable and feel unsafe. I met atleast 3 others that have experienced this same group. I can imagine how many more have also. It's sad you can't walk into a store and look because you will be verbally attacked by strangers. The managers need to do something about letting people like this, stand in aisles for hours just to get all the viral items. They need to limit items so others have a chance not just the reseller group. Something bad is going to happen in this store and it will be Burlington fault for not putting a stop to it. Someone is going to be hurt. I now have to avoid a store I once loved. I tried also going to the Tulare store and the group will be there too! It's ridiculous and Burlington managers need to step up and do their jobs. Make the store safe and comfortable. Not cater to a group of bullies harassing customers. Do better. Stop allowing these bullies to run your stores. Stop letting employees hand them items. Make it fair to everyone. No other stores allow this type of behavior...
Read moreI don't know what's going on and was surprised when I walked in that loss prevention has dividers at the entrance blocked off and they don't let customers grab carts they make sure you stand in front of the security camera so they can get good pictures of customers this was a first and they are just so rude this was so uncomfortable I just walked in to grab what I needed and immediately went to pay makes every customer walking in the store feel like they are presumed to be doing or taking things they are not supposed to, I was a big Burlington shopper but will not be coming back I spend alot here and will go else where this was not welcoming it felt like you were walking into a detention center to see an inmate. After paying they have everything blocked off and don't let you return your cart they take it from you make sure to review your bags and reciepts and escort you out I seen this with multiple customers I was shocked and couldn't belive what I was seeing. This is horrible business practice by employees and management how do you expect to run a retail business like this in that case why even be open...
