Tokyo Teriyaki Bowl — Restaurant in Visalia

Nearly DIED, worst food ever!! Got the "special" as recommended by the waitress which was the Seafood pad Thai, waited about 30 minutes for it...so I decided to wait the other 20 minutes in my car. Finally, when it was done she brings it out to me to my car(hungry nonetheless I receive it and go) I get home to only realize that there was only 3 and a half shrimp. Paid around 10.99 plus tax for it. The shrimp were covered in a sauce to disguise the foul smell coming out of them. The shrimp were rotten/expired. The noodles were soaked in a sauce that seemed poured out of a bottle that by the way I tasted and gaged. The taste of the shrimp had penetrated the noodles, but then again maybe it had all been frozen together. Poked at the shrimp with the fork it was rubber, it had been so overcooked it turned into a complete circle. Terrible disturbing experience I am truly disgusted oh and all while being pregnant....

One of the best hidden gems in Visalia. Great authentic Japanese food. This place has been in the same location for decades and is easily missed in the side strip of businesses in The Mooney Walmart Parking lot. It is definitely worth trying. They have Tokyo Gardens style Japanese, but at a cheaper more grab and go look. Tokyo Teriyaki is the best, perfectly cooked, quick, and affordable Japanese in town. They have great chicken bowls, bento boxes, fresh 🍣 sushi and more. My girlfriend has been going there for almost her entire life and loves them and got me introduced to this place and now I love it too. Tokyo Teriyaki is easily my favorite place to eat in Visalia. I am certainly a regular! I almost always prder a No. 5 Mongolian Beef Rib Bento Box with steamed veggies. I love to eat here at lunch and often will host informal lunch meetings here. The workers are friendly. The menu has a lot of variety and decent prices. Orders are made quickly. I have yet to order something that I didn't like.

Today, my kiddos wanted something special as a treat so I ordered the large teriyaki chicken tray -- pictured ‐‐ and was blown away by the amount of food!!! It tastes amazing and my kids are stoked. We will 100%...
