This Costco used to be good but the management here is very poor (the managers hardly ever do anything about the employees who act inappropriate or unprofessional to the customers) & if their self checkout machines are having so many problems then they should just take them out instead of causing more problems with all the customers (it's pretty rude to have 3 employees checking only one customers Costco card at the same time but allowing others to just scan & go without being rushed up on or bitched at for absolutely no reason at all & you don't need 6 employees standing around in one spot to scream at customers to go in what line), on top of that everytime they have a good sale going on their either sold out or they haven't received the items to put out yet (so as they claim, which lately has been a lot). Also I'm sick of the rude employees who want to push you to upgrade your membership every time you go in especially during the holidays (I DON'T WANT TO UPGRADE & I DECLINED NICELY EVERY TIME I SHOP IT'S NOT WORTH IT FOR ME, SO STOP PUSHING THAT CRAP ON ME & BEING RUDE & ARGUING & RAISING YOUR VOICE OR TRYING TO FORCE ME TO UPGRADE STILL WON'T MAKE ME UPGRADE FOR YOU GUY'S. I'M REALLY SICK OF BEING YELLED AT OR TALKED DOWN TO FOR ME DECLINING THE UPGRADE I DON'T NEED OR WANT!) Also being rushed out of the bathroom while standing in line waiting for a stall for over 10-20 minutes just so they can stand around acting like they're cleaning; it is ridiculous (especially if your pregnant, or an elderly person, or a child, or a disabled person who can't hold it very well). If you don't mind the drive then go to one of the other Costco's because they are so much better than this one is & the nice thing about those one's are they're never out of water, toilet paper & always have the sale items stocked up (it's not that big of a deal for us to travel to the other ones since this one is far from...
Read moreI used to shop at Costco for the good products and prices for stuf sold by bulck. But I stoped shopping their because I was insulted by the way I was being judged on my looks , just because I was too tired to get all dressed up to go shopping at costco.I was being judged while walking in just going to the food court to get food from the food court and I was with my two children were with me at the time and I was too tired to get all dressed up and I was dressing sloppy and I have the look of being worn out and I was in my comfortable sweat clothing. At least I was fully covered and had clothes on. And I never been stop to get food at the food court before as long as I have going there I felt so insulted and embarrassed in front of my children I had spoke to the manager and he told me they had a policy that they don't allow anyone to go into the food court unless they have a Costco card. I never been so insulted in my life being judged by the way I looked they thought I was some kind of a homeless mother trying to feed my kids. Look, I work, I have a job and I have an expensive van I'm not trash my kids dress nicer than me. But I came back another time to Costco and I was dressing really nice and nobody card me they left me be I even tried to show them my card and they did not even notice the card in my hand. So I came to conclusion I was being profiled by the way I look and I don't think Costco should judge people on the way they look just because you're a working mom you're tired you don't feel like getting dressed up ,shouldn't judge people just because they look sloppy looking. The next time I go shopping to Costco if I dress sloppy and I get stopped I am going to tell the manager that I'm being profiled and this is wrong and I want to talk to somebody over the manager about this problem. It traumatize my children and I this horrible experience that we went through...
Read moreMy mom walked into Costco today to purchase some items. I had gone with her, but we didnât go in at the exact same time. Now they started doing scanning your membership and I think itâs absurd that they do this now. I donât have a membership because I donât plan on buying anything and my mom had already walked in with hers. The guy at the front stops me and asks me âdo you have a membership?â to which I said no but my mom was already in the store. I proceeded to walk in because he keeps asking for a membership but Iâm now calling my mom to tell her that theyâre asking for HER membership. I thought they wouldnât follow me but an employee her name was Alicia, came behind me saying âSir, we need your membership.â I told her I didnât have it that Iâm looking for my mom because sheâs the one who has it. She finally decides to âescortâ me to my mom who was by the clothes just to not even ask for her membership. She walked away right when she saw herâŚwhen what she wanted was the membership? They chase you around the store like criminals now just for that membership. I wasnât the only one, I was in there for about 10 minutes after this altercation and I saw lots of people at the front getting asked RUDELY for their memberships. Some came behind family members who had them, some just didnât know what was going on with this new policy. I think itâs stupid that this is being done now, I know maybe I look the age to have a membership but imagine if your kids that are minors walk in separately? What are they going to do in that situation? Costco needs to fix this because I donât want to be escorted next time or chased around...
