Hollywood Sensation — Local services in Vista

UPDATE After contacting Hollywood Sensation’s customer service a few times they let me use both a discount and gift card but I needed to purchase for full amount and then be reimbursed for the gift card amount. I decided to adjust my review as they did let me do both however it was not easy to get to this solution.

If I could give less then 1 star I would. I received a gift card for Hollywood Sensation. They had a sale going and I attempted to make a purchase but upon entering my gift card information it took the sale discount off. The difference in price was nearly 4 times more. I reached out to customer service and the response I got was awful: “we can only process one code per transaction” My understanding is gift cards are equal to cash, it is not a discount code. I brought this to their attention and was basically told oh well too bad. I would never buy from here again and would warn you not to get anyone or yourself a gift card for here you are...

The transaction was pretty smooth, and shipping was quick. The bracelet I ordered is nice. It’s a gift for my mom for Mother’s Day- the mother/daughter bracelet. My issue is there is a very noticeable scratch right on the front of the bracelet. It’s deep too, not superficial. It came out of the box that way which means it also went into the box that way and it’s disappointing no one caught it. Edit to add: when the company read my review, they made the situation right immediately. They sent me a new bracelet no charge and free shipping. So I changed my stars from 2-5. Would recommend...

So, the bracelets I bought (4) stated they were white gold plated....they have no markings on the jewelry and they honestly look so cheap that I don't want to give them as gifts, as originally planned. I contacted the company right away and apparently purchasing them on sale made me unable to return them.
