Melrose Village Plaza — Local services in Vista

I shop here multiple times a week since it’s close . The cleanliness of the center is slightly below average, I generally feel safe walking my dog at night after a stop at Albertsons (awesome store). I’ll find the occasional piece of but nothing major. I prefer when it’s quiet & not busy & avoid from 7:00-9:00a.m. & 2:00-3:45pm MSU’s to heavy high school foot traffic & cars stopping randomly. Avoid CVS after 5pm (rude & close early), Dollar Tree is fast with a large selection for kids crafts & seasonal decorations. Subway is conveniently close, just slow service, & the new delicious Chinese place and sushi place next door are both delicious. Fantastic Sams I haven’t tried, but my Dad swears by it. The Laundromat is filthy but open later...

I went to Albertsons because they have a kiosk for DMV to renew your registration or to get a sticker and I went and it did not accept my debit card so I wasn't too happy I had to go to the store get the money off the card and go back to DMV because they have a kiosk inside and it's only cash so I quickly made it back and just in time five minutes before they close I was able to get my sticker for my car thank God thank you D M V for having a cash-only kiosk I know for next time now I recommend anybody you do not have to stand in line just go on in there and thanking the license plate the last five digits of your VIN and there's two buttons to press priced either or and get what year paying...

Interesting place. In town for only a few days and were looking for some items for the hotel room and stopped in at the Albertsons. Overall the store was clean and well stocked but since it was not our usual store it felt a bit off.

The clerks were friendly and helpful but I just can’t give better than a 3 star as the manager on duty was barking out orders to the workers. This was about 9 pm and perhaps he thought no shoppers were in the store but it was unprofessional.
