Ho Won Express — Restaurant in Vista

Ordered the Chop Suey asked if they had bean sprouts said no mixed vegetables. And savory. Not savory at all the worst very little chicken chicken has no taste at all not greasy or salty but zero taste vegetables no taste. Total rip off spent $27 on 2 dishes that werecrap. One had lots of chicken the other had close to nothing. Will never come back again. Waste of money. DO NOT RECOMMEND Never go to a restaurant that always look. Empty.

Called him to let him know to please read my review and I hope he enjoys it as much as I enjoyed the food.

He calls me back up yelling at me saying why did I leave a bad review? I told him it was the truth he was yelling at me how dare I do that. I told him we had to spit the fortune cooker out because very stale. Also told him Instead of yelling at me take constructive criticism and learn!!

Told him the chicken was poor quality (hope it was chicken and not raccoon). Charges a lot of money for food that is worst than I ever had. He then yelled at me used a profanity and hung up on me! Wow you would think a restaurant owner would want the criticism to be better and grow his business! Now, Now I understand why it’s always empt. Also his diners are sweating no air conditioning. How Rude how he treats his diners. Learn and do better.

This is a fairly small truly family owned business. As a result the Mom is up front serving and Dad is in the kitchen preparing the food. They have quite an extensive selection for the lunch time diners and those wanting a "To Go" order. For dinner it is somewhat smaller range of items. But if you call in and request a special order they will have it right there hot and ready for you. If you go in very late toward closing time the food will have been in the steam trays for some time and will not be fresh. So schedule time and go in early as possible. If you do not see the exact item you want, then tell Mom and she will have it prepared fresh from their kitchen for you. They are very flexible, so you can request any combination, even if it is not on the menu, and Papa can prepare it for you. Sorry but they do...

I have never eaten at this restaurant and because of the RUDE customer service I just received that will continue. I was hungry and decided to stop in and see what they had. An employee was mopping the floor and told me to walk where it wasn't wet. I approached their counter to see if anything interested me and there wasn't so I said I was good.
