The Grand Plaza truly remarkable experience all unto itself. I found myself saying many times “this is so real; It looks like a movie.“ And I realized about halfway through our whirlwind tour of Europe. The reason why I keep feeling that way is because some of the places we visited ARE In fact, backdrops for many of our favorite films that we know in love. The Grand Plaza has that crispness to it; the eclectic shops, the crowds of people, the bartering, the negotiations, and the eclectic atmosphere of smells from all the food stalls andperiphery eateries. You may feel a little, overwhelmed upon walking in at first, but everyone we spoke to was extremely friendly and inviting without being pushy or demanding that you buy something. Many of their hand crafts are one of a kind, however, many of them are also mass produced so it pays to take a walk around the upper and lower levels and then crisscross through the middle. We purchased probably 90% of our souvenir gifts for family and friends in this one stop! We came to find out that the prices are a little bit more expensive than “on the outside of the plaza“, but I think the experience is worth it not to mention there is some negotiation that can be had… ESPECIALLY since they take multiple forms of currency from different countries and they will do the conversion for you on the spot. It was a lovely shopping district with good food and drink to have as you shop. 10/10...
Read moreI actually hate to come to this Shopping Center because the parking sucks and people are always trying to hit me with their cars. Aside from trying to play Frogger while you go here, the stores are stretched out in a long line so you can get your walking in. You could drive down to the other stores that you wanted to visit but good luck finding another parking place. They built three Ross stores closer to my house, and in fact the stores I actually shop at here have closer ones to me. I don't even go to the other side of this Shopping Center where the food is. I don't even know what food is there anymore but when the Broken Yolk was there the service was terrible. I don't like Boudins hard chewy bread. Sammy's is ok but no one ever wants to go there. I don't eat at Five Guys because there's better burgers up the road. I have never liked Pat and Oscars. I like Sprouts but I can never find what I want whenever I go...
Read moreI don't know what has been going on with this Sprouts lately but it has gotten really dirty. Several times I have gone and the strawberries, blueberries, and grapes have been moldy. The deli takes forever and if you leave to go shop they leave your deli items in a pile on the counter so they are room temp. And mushy when you go to pick them up (Fraizer puts them in the cooler case). You have to really watch cashiers because they often charge you the wrong item or the sale price doesn't go through. The worst is when I saw 2 heads of broccoli fall on the floor, sat there for several minutes only to have a worker go pick them up and put them back on the pile. My daughter refuses to let me buy broccoli here now since she witnessed this with me. I've been making the trip to the Sprouts in Bressi Ranch for a better selection and service in a pinch I...
