Stater Bros. Markets — Local services in Vista

Been going to this store more frequently the past 2 months but today I was wrongfully mistreated. All started when my buddy had bought a pack of beer and as we were checking out the cashier "Lisa" had asked for his age and he jokingly said 25 but clearly on his ID he was over the age of 21 and Lisa who takes her grocery store job WAY to seriously had rudely told him he wasn't able to purchase it because he had joked with her. Sounds silly huh? It's all true. 2 hours pass and now as I am going to purchase beer she calls me out before I'm even going to the line and says "I'm unable to purchase alcohol" and as I'm asking why shes denying me service she just calls her manager before I can even get a sentence from her. As soon as the manager "sergio" arrived I was met with more attitude. He claims that they are unable to sell to me because my friend had joked about his age. As I ask for his name he just starts repeatedly yelling the phone number for corporate I'm assuming which is highly unprofessional. Clearly they have no experience in customer service cause there were multiple ways they could have handled both situations but take their grocery store job way too seriously. I have never wrote a review for a place I have had a bad experience at but this caught my eye on how mistreated me and my friend were after how often I have been coming...

I was buying some stuff from this company and then I had the emergency to use the restroom and I asked to someone if can I use the restroom. I found the restroom and when I was trying to put the code and I couldn’t remember the last number so I asked to another employee again and he was super rude and with some attitude! And I was like okay probably he has been through something today I get it.. and I didn’t know someone was in there ! Then there was another employee behind me screaming to me “SOME ONE IS IN THERE, SOME ONE IS IN THERE ! Like 5 times with some attitude, and I mean the door was locked!! It wasn’t gonna work if I was trying to open it!! So why employees have to be rude all the time? I’ve been through some shi* these days but I’m not gonna let those things ruining my day or something, I considered my self with high self esteem!! You have to teach these things to your employees so they can be more polite with...

Just left the staterbros and had a AWFUL experience… i purchased over $60 of groceries and was being helped by a supervisor named Elizabeth… Not only did she have a snarly attitude but she was being careless with my items on checkout. As i return home to place my groceries away, i find that my $6 pizza rolls are missing… i saved the reciept so i knew that i would be fine to just go walk back, talk with the workers and explain that they never gave me my Pizza rolls on check out… THAT WAS NOT THE CASE… i go back/ receipt i. Hand and explain how they forgot my items and instead they got defensive and irritated with me to try and reclaim and item I still paid for. Ultimately the told me to kick rocks and that theres nothing i can do to retrieve my pizza rolls ! Place is not built for sustain long term business… better off going to walmart where the prices will be lower if your going to receive...
