As a Clinical and Holistic Skin Therapist/Herbalist/Nutritionist, I send several people per week I work on to Drug Emporium, if I’m out in my dispensary here for various things, especially: Fulvic Humic Acid, Chloraphyll, Black Seed Oil, Serrapeptase, Nattokinase, Ancient Nutrition (Dr. Axe’s brand;) bone broth/stress pre/probiotics, all kinds of rare to find glass jarred Skin Spray Hydrosols, Colloidal Silver Gel and Oral, quality organic perfumes, plus so much more! I love that they have rare incredible foods/snacks I can’t find around here: delicious and nutritious seaweed snacks, Alden’s organic Ice cream from Oregon🤤, Amazing California organic Olive Oil, etc. They also have an incredible modern jewelry section from my favorite designer (necklaces), beautiful magnetic bracelets for anti-inflammation, some rare pharmaceutical grade medical acne skincare-great for back acne (on the pharmacy side;), some cute home decor items, and so much more! They will order anything you want if they don’t have it-which I love. I also love the Christian music playing pleasantly over the speakers-I find myself humming to it when I’m in there-I appreciate this added bonus. ✨ *The only reason I did not give 5 stars, is because the woman over the health supplement department has raised up the prices significantly ($10 in only 4 months 😳), since I’ve been referring so many people to buy certain items that I mentioned at the beginning of this review. That is NOT ok. I was really taken aback about this when my clients/patients were telling me the price increase in the last few months. I realize inflation, but $10 in only 4 months is rediculous, especially when I’m sending SEVERAL people in there to buy local every week.

The perfume /fragrance smell when you walk in is inconcievable. However, for my low toxic lifestyle, I just go in really quick, get my stuff, and leave. The smell is just too strong in this ENTIRE store. It's a shame, with synthetic frangraces being as toxic as they are. But, they have local grass fed beef (not organic) and other lovely local food in one of the freezers and sprinkled about. Sometimes they have local (within or surrounding Waco) grown produce and eggs too. Wonderful place, but it does make me wish my parents did take my nose as a toddler.

A perfume lover’s dream. I didn’t even get a chance to look at anything else in the store because I became so captivated with their perfume selection. And a huge range of products price wise. Inexpensive all the way to niche items. Very impressive collection to find in Waco at not a department or beauty store. They also do decants so you can test things out. Their items were at grey market prices too, so very discounted from typical retail. Lori helped us out today. She was very knowledgeable. Will definitely be back.

This place simply has to be one of the best kept secrets in retail shopping, hands down. It's truly a diamond in the rough. As a matter of fact, I'm headed there during my trip to Waco today. They have things you never would expect to find in a little (semi) run down, "once upon a time was a grocery store and now it's some ackward, not generic enough building housing some kind of off the wall general store of sorts" - but folks, trust and believe, if you have never been to Drug Emporium, you are truly missing out. This is where I find all of my salon quality hair products - and yall, I am truly a junkie when it comes to ridiculously expensive salon hair products. I think deep down I believe that one of these days, I am gonna spend enough money on one of these products, and pick just the right one and it's going to unlock the secrets of the universe, along with making my super fine, unruly, curly mess of a mane act right and look healthier than it has been since I was 2 - which I highly doubt will ever be the case, but a girl can hope. They carry super pricey finds like Olaplex, It's a 10, Living Proof, Matrix, Aveda & Paul Mitchell to name a few - at astoundingly low prices. They have all natural grocery items that are truly a find if you're on a health kick or have strict nutritional needs. They also have a wealth of essential oils and all natural remedies, including CBD & hemp oils - but not only do they carry these products that are so hard to find and even harder to assure their quality - they have a dedicated employee that can answer any and all of your questions. That brings me to my favorite part about this place - the employees. You'll find one around every aisle and they're always over the top pleasant (while still genuine), uber helpful & they know their stuff. You gotta check...

Some people underestimate Drug Emporium. They have a little of everything. I buy all my makeup and shampoos/conditioners, etc. there. They even carry the Shampoos/Conditioners and any other kind of hair products that are typically only sold in the salons. Oh and I almost forgot to mention they have a plethora of hair care products such as hair dryers, flat irons, curling irons, oh and even makeup mirrors, and when you're in need of perfume or cologne for yourself or a gift Drug Emporium is the absolute cheapest in town I promise, and yes they have the good stuff with their own perfume counter and a lady to help you find the right scent if you aren't sure what you're looking for. They even carry off brands that smell like the real thing in another section. Drug Emporium also also sells grocery shelf and refrigerated items too. Their Blue Bell ice cream is cheaper there than anywhere else. They also have another store inside the store called Vitamins Plus and they have everything you could ever think of for health and diet, including foods. Also in the very back by the Pharmacy they have western themed art, pictures and also some beautiful crosses and wind chimes for sale. They also carry some clothing items, and shoes, tights, scarves, medical equipment, a huge assortment of reading glasses and sunglasses from dirt cheap to average on the prices. Trust me, this place has it all. If you haven't ever been here you will be pleasantly surprised. I am a frequent customer here. I have to mention too that tqhe employees are always very friendly and...
