I will start in saying ordering online was quick and easy. Got to the restaurant 10 mins before and parked in the “curbside” side, where absolutely no one comes out to greet you. 30 mins passed my curbside time (40 mins after I arrived) I happen to catch a woman coming out to give a customer her food and asked if mine was ready since it had been 30 mins passed. She took my name and quickly went inside and got the food I ordered which was a 20 piece chicken strips family meal (feeds 4-6 supposedly). Also paid an extra amount for a family size French fries. I asked the young lady how long my food had been there waiting to be brought out because I didn’t want cold food. She said “it just came out”. I quickly look in the bag to check if everything was there and find the smallest halfway filled cut of ranch dip. For a 20 piece? I was shocked and asked her If that was all I was gonna get I mean for god sakes I ordered a family meal right? She politely said she had to grab some for someone else and will then grab me more ranch. Before she could even turn around to leave I notice there isn’t any family size fries in the bag at all. I think at this point I should have asked for a complete redo. 10 mins later they come out with the fries and apologized in saying they have only one fryer working currently. Worse part of it all was the food OMG first off 20 piece came as a cold 15 piece with one of those being a beefsteak strip of some kind. These strips had absolutely no chicken in them It was a joke. The fries had not been left to fry more then a few seconds as they were still cold soggy fries. We are a family of 5 with two under 5years old that don’t eat much and I felt like we ate more green bean then chicken trying to divide 15 sticks of batter. Honestly wish I would have taken pictures for y’all to see. It was disappointing..I live 1 min from the restaurant and new to the area so thought I’d ask my husband to try this place. I am absolutely shocked and disappointed, since I would have been happy with almost anything since I didnt have to cook (we don’t eat out much). Over all not a good...
Read moreMy wife and i went to eat here cause we wanted some home cooking....would have been better to just went home and cooked myself. When we arrived there were only maybe 3-4 people waiting tables and they weren't even using all the tables in the place. The host told us there was a 15 min. wait which didn't bother us but he didn't ask for our name or give us anything to by when our table was ready. We waited and there were other people coming in and the same thing, no name or anything to go by. When a table came available then the host couldn't remember who was next and was about to sit another couple until they said we were before them. Our waitress came and got our order and everything was going ok till she came and told us right before our food was to come out that they ran out of items and we needed to choose something else. We waited a little longer and she came back and said that they were out of the new items we asked for, so we chose new items. Finally she brings us our food and we didn't get what we ordered.....I ordered the mushroom swiss chicken fried steak and got just a regular chicken friend steak, my wife ordered the cajun duo and it didn't look anything like it was supposed too. I told the waitress that our order was wrong and she wanted to argue with us that it was right so i asked for a manager and the manager apparently didn't want to deal with it and told her to have the kitchen remake our food. We had already waited an hour and now we have to wait even longer to have our food done right. The waitress didn't offer to refill our drinks or anything. By the time we got the food a second time we weren't hungry and just wanted to leave. We ended up having to pay for our meal and didn't get any apology for anything. We will not be going back here ever again. Not sure what has happen to this place cause it used to be packed in the past but now looks like it is barely hanging on. I would think that they would try to hold on to the customers that they have since they can't seem to draw the kind of crowds...

My lunch buddy and I went here today for his first visit. We entered the building and fortunately there was no wait. The hostess did not speak to us as we motioned with two fingers how many of us there were. She grabbed the menus and walked us to the far corner of the restaurant and said nothing. Our server came immediately. Misty was on her game and got us tea and Diet Pepsi (no coke😡😡). We ordered chips, salsa, and queso as well as a plate of fried green tomatoes with avocado and regular ranch. Please, don't forget the salt on the chips! The batter on the fried green tomatoes was perfectly crispy but there was absolutely no seasoning in the batter. Bland! 🤪 For entrees, we ordered meatloaf. I had broccoli rice casserole and macaroni and cheese while my friend had mashed potatoes and broccoli rice as well. Without a doubt, Cheddar's and George's offer superior broccoli rice casserole and macaroni and cheese. The meatloaf was delicious though and was literally steaming as I cut into it! Fresh, fresh, fresh 😁 Dear Cotton Patch, salt and pepper are your friends!! Our server, Misty, was 100% perfect. She is the server I would want every time I come here or anywhere for that matter. This woman did not miss a beat and was pleasant, prompt, but never intrusive. One strange thing I noticed is that when I looked up at the ceiling, every air conditioning vent was absolutely filthy and clogged with layers of dust and mildew. From the lobby all the way to our table, I could see these disgusting vents. Isn't this bad for the quality of air in the restaurant? Asthmatics, senior citizens, those with allergies, or this dust falling on our food? Aside from the ceiling conditions🤬, our visit was nearly perfect. Lunch...
